Under 17 Gulf Cup of Nations

[edit]

Can you provide me with any evidence that the tournament took place before 2008? As far as i'm aware, that was the 1st edition. Hopefully i can reference more, if not i would have to delete anything before 2008 as there doesn't seem to be any information anywhere. Druryfire (talk) 08:24, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cheers for the link dude. I now believe that 2009 was the 6th tournament, but we have only listed 5 winners. Any chance you know who has also won and what year? Druryfire (talk) 17:46, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Sm3a! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 5 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. Survey

[edit]

Hi Sm3a!

I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!

It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!

Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!

Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you! Thanks for uploading File:Arabian Gulf Cup Logo (2013).png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Logo uae league.png

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Logo uae league.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Notice

The article Abdulaziz Fayez Al Alawi has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. » Shadowowl | talk 22:54, 19 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

List of Al Ain FC presidents moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, List of Al Ain FC presidents, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. buidhe 05:06, 10 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The article United Arab Emirates national under-20 football team results has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

It mainly fails WP:GNG as we only do lists on the senior teams only with their results.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Ways to improve List of Al Ain FC seasons

[edit]

Hello, Sm3a,

Thank you for creating List of Al Ain FC seasons.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This article needs more references in order to provide significant coverage for this article. See WP:SIGCOV
References that have scores, lists, order of merit and video do not pass as reliable sources for WP:NSPORT. (There have been changes to the notability guide for sports - you may wish to read WP:NSPORT ) To meet notability requirements, one more reference with significant coverage will suffice. Thank you.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Abdullah Malallah (footballer, born 1983) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hello, Sm3a,
These categories were emptied when the only article in them was moved to Draft space. Draft space articles, as you know, are not placed in content categories. If they are moved back to main space, these categories will once again have at least one article in them. Empty categories sit for 7 days before deletion is considered so that is time for the draft articles to be improved enough to make it back to main space. But I thought I'd leave you a personal note as this is quite a few CSD notifications to appear on your talk page. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 18:11, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

1980–81 Al Ain FC season moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, 1980–81 Al Ain FC season, is not suitable as written to remain published.
