The Chinese character 道 dao

Welcome to the Taoism WikiProject. We are a group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of articles related to Taoism. This page contains only the suggestions, things to give you focus and to get you going, and you should not feel obligated in the least to follow them. But if you don't know what to write or where to begin, following the below guidelines may be helpful. Mainly, we just want you to write articles!

  • The goal of this WikiProject is to provide complete coverage on subjects related to Taoism, by creating, improving, and maintaining articles on the history, ideas, principles, and people of Taoism.
  • The scope of this project will consist of all articles within the Category:Taoism.

We will try to follow the Manual of Style in the construction of our articles.

Open tasks[edit]

  • Chan Kam Lee - I have put a list of suggestions on the Talk:Chan Kam Lee page, please read them and get involved if you think you can contribute. Chan Lee may have been one of the first Taoists to live and teach in the West as he emigrated to London from Weihaiwei in Shandong in 1930 and according to Chee Soo taught a class in Red Lion Square in Holborn, but we need to find more documented evidence of this. Chuangzu (talk) 14:17, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
  • Currently working on Tao yin and adding some stuff from the Hunan museum page to the section on the Daoyintu. Chuangzu (talk) 14:41, 12 March 2017 (UTC)

Please feel free to add yourself here, and to indicate any areas of particular interest. Thanks!
