The class of 1894, Pomona's first graduating class, had 11 members.[ 1]
This list of Pomona College people includes notable graduates, non-graduating attendees, and past and present faculty, staff, and administrators of Pomona College , an elite[ 2] liberal arts college in Claremont, California , and the founding member of the Claremont Colleges .[ 3]
Since its founding in 1887, Pomona has graduated 131 classes of students and today has approximately 25,000 living alumni.[ 4] Of those who are working, 23.8% are in business and finance, 23.5% are in education, 10.4% are in law and government, 9.9% are in health and medicine, 5.1% are in arts and media, 4.3% are in science and technology, and 23% are in other fields.[ 5] As of January 2024[update] , the college enrolls approximately 1,690 students,[ 6] and employs 278 faculty members[ 7] and 271 administrative staff.[ 8]
