The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015, commonly known as E3 2015, is scheduled to be the 21st Electronic Entertainment Expo event. E3 is an annual trade show for the video game industry presented by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA). The event will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, CA from June 14, 2015 to June 16, 2015.[2]

Major exhibitors at the convention will include Activision, Atlus, Bethesda,[3] Electronic Arts, Microsoft, Nintendo, Nvidia, Sony, Square Enix[4] and Ubisoft.[5]

Press conferences

Oculus

Oculus hosted a pre-E3 press conference on June 11, 2015 at 10:00am (PDT).[6] During the conference, Oculus Rift's final design was revealed. Oculus Touch, a controller for the Rift, as well as exclusives, including Damaged Core from High Voltage Software, VR Sports Challenge from Sanzaru Games, Chronos from Gunfire Games and Edge of Nowhere from Insomniac Games were announced.[7][8]

Bethesda

Bethesda hosted its first ever E3 press conference on June 14 at 7:00pm (PDT).[3][9] During the conference, Bethesda Softworks revealed Fallout Shelter, Dishonored: Definitive Edition, Dishonored 2, the sequel for Dishonored, as well as The Elder Scrolls: Legends, a card game set within the Elder Scrolls universe. Release windows, trailers and gameplay demo were released for Fallout 4, Doom and Battlecry Studios' BattleCry.

Microsoft

Microsoft will host a press conference on June 15 at 9:30am (PDT).[9]

Electronic Arts

Electronic Arts will host a press conference on June 15 at 1:00pm (PDT).[9] The conference will last for an hour.[10][11][12]

Ubisoft

Ubisoft will host a press conference on June 15 at 3:00pm (PDT).[13]

Sony

Sony will host a press conference on June 15 at 6:00pm (PDT).[9][14]

Nintendo

Nintendo for a third consecutive E3 decided to forego hosting a traditional press conference in favor of a pre-recorded announcement, billed the Nintendo Digital Event, which will be streamed online on June 16 at 9:00am (PDT) with an accompanying press release.[9] Nintendo also held the Nintendo World Championship on June 14, 2015.[15] During the World Championship, Blast Ball was announced, while Mario Maker was renamed to Super Mario Maker.[16][17]

Square Enix

Square Enix will host a press conference on June 16 at 10:00am (PDT).[4][9]

PC Gaming Show

A press conference focusing on PC games will be held on June 16 at 5:00pm (PDT) by gaming magazine PC Gamer and AMD. Companies including Blizzard Entertainment, Microsoft Studios, Bohemia Interactive, Paradox Interactive, Obsidian Entertainment, as well as Tripwire Interactive, ArenaNet, The Creative Assembly, Frictional Games, Frontier Developments, SCS Software, Splash Damage, Square Enix, Cloud Imperium Games and Devolver Digital will be present during the conference. The conference will be hosted by Sean Plott.[9][18][19]
