RDO is a freely-available, community-supported distribution of OpenStack that was launched by Red Hat in 2013.[1]. RDO stands for "RPM Distribution of OpenStack"[2]. RDO runs on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS and Fedora. RDO also makes the latest OpenStack development release available for use.

RDO must not be confused with the Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP).
