Matthias Zimmer (born 3 May 1961) is a German politician and author. Born in Marburg, Hesse, he represents the CDU. Matthias Zimmer has served as a member of the Bundestag from the state of Hesse since 2009, winning a constituency in Frankfurt am Main for three terms.[citation needed]

Life

He became member of the bundestag after the 2009 German federal election.[1] He is a member of the Committee for Labour and Social Affairs and the Committee for Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid.[2][3]
