Ari is a village situated in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is one of the largest villages in Jammu and Kashmir. It is located approximately 2 kilometers away from Mendhar Tehsil and 44 kilometers away from Poonch district[2][3]
Demographics
According to the 2011 Indian Census, the village consists of the total population of 7,772 people. The literacy rate of the Ari village is 74.48 percent which is higher than the literacy rate of 67.16 percent of Jammu and Kashmir.[2]
