University of Engineering and Technology (Uet) Kala Shah Kaku (KSK) campus is the city campus of the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. The campus was inaugurated by president Pervez Musharraf in 2006.[1]

Academics

The campus has the following seven academic departments:

  • Department of Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
  • Department of Chemical, Polymer and Composites Materials Engineering
  • Department of Mechanical, Mechatronics and Manufacturing Engineering
  • Department of Computer Sciences
  • Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities.
  • Centre for Energy Research and Development
  • Biomedical Engineering Centre

UET KSK Campus offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in following disciplines:

Engineering

In all departments at KSK, the laboratories are well equipped and in a continuing process of updating. The departments have ample resources to meet the requirements to run the programs they offer. Moreover, a number of teachers from each department are studying abroad.[2]

Energy Research Centre

Centre for Energy Research and Development (CERAD) at KSK campus

The Centre for Energy Research and Development (CERAD) is an organized research unit at KSK campus, aimed at coordinating and promoting energy research, education and solutions to energy issueS of Pakistan. It was inaguarted by CM Shehbaz Sharif on 9 February 2013. The department offers following programs.[3]

  • M.Phil.Energy Sciences
  • PhD.Energy Engineering
  • PhD.Energy Sciences
