I'd guessed when I reviewed that you wanted the nom to be saved for the Olympics but can't be sure; anyway it's been moved to a prep area so now's the time to shout if you do want it saved - Basement12 (T.C) 00:36, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

DYK Yuderqui Contreras

Hey, I wanted you to check this out, I decided to take the draft to mainspace before the olympics, but I couldn't find any Picture. I submitted a DYK. But I have found that some DYK recently mention 2012 Olympic "Athlete" and I think thats catchy. Check my talk for the comments you posted about this before. Thanks! Here is the template:

Ask for help expanding Jade Bailey (footballer)

I am the creator of the article Jade Bailey (footballer) I came here hoping to ask for help in expanding it because you added a note concerning her on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:2012_Summer_Olympics_opening_ceremony#David_Beckham_handing_over_the_torch. I don't know enough to do a good article here. I need 1500 characters to get it past http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Did_you_know_nominations/Jade_Bailey_(footballer) . Would you care to help? WikiCup 2012 July newsletter

Trophy.png

We're approaching the beginning of 2012's final round. Pool A sees Wales Cwmhiraeth (submissions) as the leader, with 300 points being awarded for the featured article Bivalvia, and Pool B sees Conradh na Gaeilge Grapple X (submissions) in the lead, with 10 good articles, and over 35 articles eligible for good topic points. Pool A sees New York City Muboshgu (submissions) in second place with a number of articles relating to baseball, while Pool B's Minnesota Ruby2010 (submissions) follows Grapple X, with a variety of contributions including the high-scoring, high-importance featured article on the 2010 film Pride & Prejudice. Ruby2010, like Grapple X, also claimed a number of good topic points; despite this, not a single point has been claimed for featured topics in the contest so far. The same is true for featured portals.

Currently, the eighth-place competitor (and so the lowest scorer who would reach the final round right now) has scored 332, more than double the 150 needed to reach the final round last year. In 2010, however, 430 was the lowest qualifying score. In this competition, we have generally seen scores closer to those in 2010 than those in 2011. Let's see what kind of benchmark we can set for future competitions! As ever, if you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. Good luck! Mushrooms dyk review

Hi! Thanks for reviewing the dyk nom for Mushrooms (film). I was unaware of the qpq rule. This is not my first dyk nom. I have had definitely more than 5 dyk (I don't remember exactly how many); but 90% of them before 2008. I was inactive for years, and started editing actively again in late 2011. In any case, doing a dyk review would not be a problem, rather I would be happy to do so! Regards.--Dwaipayan (talk) 12:04, 4 August 2012 (UTC)

FYI, I reviewed Nancy Bikin Pembalesan as a QPQ review, and have now mentioned that in the Mushrooms nomination page. Regards.--Dwaipayan (talk) 19:03, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

Samantha Reid as a "Mermaid" in DYN

Hi, I was looking over the DYN nomination for Samantha Reid, and noticed that you were the one who suggested the "Mermaid" version of the factoid. However, I don't see any clarification of that in the article (and can't even figure out where "mermaid" comes in...), which can lead to a lot of confusion for users. Could you please take a look at the talk page, and, if possible, update the article with this information? Arathald (talk) 20:27, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
