Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in restoring pages that were uncontroversially deleted. Articles deleted via proposed deletion and pages deleted under certain speedy deletion criteria, such as G6, can be restored through this process. This page also serves as a central location to request that deleted content be userfied or emailed to you so the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere.

Note that requests for undeletion is not a replacement for deletion review. If you feel an administrator has erred in closing a deletion discussion, and you are unable to resolve the issue on their talk page, it should be raised at Wikipedia:Deletion review, rather than here. To request the undeletion of images, you may also tag the file page with {{ImageUndeleteRequest}}.

Kickn Kenny V

Dont understand why, but Kenny is all over the web, from old school flyers to other events. Please look his info over and resubmit him to your page, someone must not have liked him being up here. For someone to say that his history was untraceable, is just not right! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.131.49.186 (talkcontribs)

I can't find a deleted article for Kickn Kenny V, Kickn kenny v, Kickin Kenny V , or any of several other variations. Without the exact title we can't really help you.--Fabrictramp | talk to me 20:38, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Done - turns out the article was located at Kickin' Kenny V, and so has been restored on request as a proposed deletion. Cheers, Arbitrarily0 (talk) 21:29, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Also note that the article has been nominated for a deletion discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kickin' Kenny V. Best regards, Arbitrarily0 (talk) 21:36, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

:) No problem - the only reason I even found it was because deletionpedia tipped me off. Cheers, Arbitrarily0 (talk) 01:55, 2 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ric McIver

Ric McIver is a prominent local politician in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Calgary is a major metropolitan centre in Canada, the 4th largest by population. Furthermore, he is a significant candidate for mayor of the city in the upcoming October 2010 elections. Please note that other current Calgary aldermen, including Joe Ceci, André Chabot, and Diane Colley-Urquhart have articles that have not been deleted, and as of May 1st 2010, none of the above have indicated they are participating in the mayoral election. I strongly request undeletion of the page, as it has strong significance in the area of Canadian politics. --Dbo789 (talk) 05:36, 2 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Done - the page has been restored to your userspace at User:Dbo789/Ric McIver. You may work on improving the article's assertion of notability at its new location, but please consider contacting Nihonjoe (talk · contribs), the administrator who deleted the page, before moving it back to the article space. Rebekah Davis

Rebekah Davis is the Democratic candidate for the US House of Representatives, Nebraska's 3rd District 2010 election. If she wins it will be an upset, the first Democrat to win in today's 3rd district of Nebraska. She has a grassroots campaign with many speaking engagements and is being covered by all local media outlets including Fox News. She is an "important and notable politician" by virtue of the fact that she is currently running and running in a district that came close to a party upset only in 1974 and 2006. -Timi361 (talk) 14:30, 2 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article was redirected to Nebraska's 3rd congressional district as she fails WP:POLITICIAN. If she wins then she will satisfy that criterion. –– Jezhotwells (talk) 15:15, 2 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User:WCityMike

I'm wondering if an administrator might be able to unearth an old iteration of my userpage from a 2006 self-requested deletion. I remember an earlier iteration of my userpage, back when I was more active as an editor, being in a form I liked and having a collection of links I found very useful at the time; I'd like to have that as a starting draft to work from. My guess is that the undeletion to undo probably is the deletion made by Tawker when looking at this log. — WCityMike 08:32, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and if this does prove possible, if you need to overwrite what's there in order to do it, go ahead; if not; if you can restore it to something like User:WCityMike/OldFrontPage or what have you, that'd be great. — WCityMike 08:36, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Done history from june to 4 July 2006 restored, there are other deleted versions too that come from earlier or later, and these too could be added back into history, so please say if you want this. It may reveal details you wanted to leave deleted, (such as age and location and relative) or vandalism. Ask if you want this version back too. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 10:16, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article has not been deleted. The BLP-PROD template on it only said that, as an unsourced biography of a living person, it would be deleted after ten days unless sources were supplied. As you have added sources, you could simply have removed the PROD template, as both the PROD itself and the notice on your talk page explained. I have done it for you. Classixx

I am a member of the group classixx. An intern from the company that manages us created this page as per my request. It was just a start and we planned to add more and more info to it.

We are a music production duo that has released a number of notable remixes and singles through both major labels and prominent independent labels. our discogrpaghy can be found here: http://www.discogs.com/artist/Classixx We are also prominent dj's in our native Los Angeles and along with our contemporaries, we have help start a developing scene of indie electronic dance music here. As djs we have toured extensively both in the U.S. and internationally, playing shows on every continent (excluding Antarctica). Here is a link to view fliers from many of the concerts we have played: http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewPicture&friendID=279982599&albumId=544711

We are still actively touring internationally as you can see by going to our official myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/classixxmusic

This is the Classixx official website: classixx.la There is contact information on the site or you can send a message to the myspace if it is need to confirm my identity.

let me know what else I can do to make sure this page is safe from being deleted. our email address is classixx@classixx.la —Preceding unsigned comment added by Classixx (talkcontribs)

Abby Jan Dharamsey Undeletion

Sir/Madam

Here is the proof that I created the original copy and sent it to the website mentioned for publication on their website.

Forwarded Message ----

From: Abdulla Dharamsey <edited> To: Jon Davey <jon.davey@businessleadgeneration.co.uk> Sent: Sun, 25 April, 2010 3:57:34 Subject: WESTMINSTER NORTH CONSTITUENCY - INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE PROFILE

Hey Jon

Set out below is my profile that you could consider for publication on your website. I have also attached my Election Communication (it has my photographs in Western and Middle Eastern style!) of which 60,000 copies will be delivered by Royal Mail from Tuesday.

My website will be published on Wednesday (www.dharamsey.co.uk and www.dharamsey.info).

I am rather surprised that no Independent Candidate has taken up your splendid offer.

Kind regards

Abby -Ajdharamsey (talk) 20:44, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. I'm afraid you have misunderstood what Wikipedia is about - it is an encyclopedia, not an election notice-board or a vehicle for promotion of any kind. We do not offer to publish candidates' election manifestos; in fact, because of our requirement for a neutral point of view, people are strongly discouraged from writing about themselves. The convention, explained at WP:POLITICIAN, is that candidates' articles are redirected to the appropriate constituency article, and I have re-created your article as a redirect to Westminster North (UK Parliament constituency). Please do not add to that. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 09:31, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

TechExcel

I would like to add the TechExcel article so that readers know about TechExcel - the application lifecycle management and IT service management software provider. The contents of the article will look like the contents of the article Tech_Excel. I plan to delete the Tech_Excel article as soon as the TechExcel article is live. -Fjabbour (talk) 02:29, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. The TechExcel article was deleted three times as a result of deletion discussions at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/DevPlan, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/TechExcel, and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/TechExcel Software, and the title has been protected from creation because it was re-created so often. I have returned your new version to your user space at User:Fjabbour/TechExcelDraft; if you want an article about this company, you should first approach user Ihcoyc (talk · contribs), the admin who closed the most recent AfD and protected the title; and if he does not agree you can take it to WP:Deletion review. Note that an article must not merely not read like advertising; it must also establish that the company is notable enough to have an encyclopedia article, which is not a matter of opinion but needs to be demonstrated by showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." I will add some helpful links on your talk page. JohnCD (talk) 10:58, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

SETI (The Kovenant album)

The Kovenant may be a little known band, but as long as they are considered notable themselves, it seems logical that their releases (at least the full-length albums) are just as notable as the band. An article on SETI was deleted on May 2, 2010, after a proposal on grounds of non-notability. -Uzyel (talk) 10:01, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Done. As a contested PROD, the article is restored on request. I have notifed user 92.11.105.66 (talk · contribs), who PRODded it on grounds of "notability", in case s/he wishes to nominate it at AfD. It does not follow that every album from a notable band is also notable - see WP:Notability (music) and in particular WP:NALBUMS. You may like to consider adding sources to help establish notability and to comply with the verifiability requirement. JohnCD (talk) 13:13, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I transfered that file in the past onto Commons (at the begining 2006, when I was still a baby here), but with a reduced resolution (see commons:File:450px-ScarboroughPylons.jpg). It after has been deleted here under WP:CSD F8 (probably my fault). I completly forgot that till today. Now I would like to upload the full resolution original image to Commons. Could you restore it? I will do everything on the Commons side so that it replaces the lowest resolution version (if applicable, I don't remember), with the correct original upload log and description. When Volunteers with limited knowledge make decisions they are bound to waste time of every one. The admin here "Cirt" is kind of irresponsible. We are not begging here to undelete, we are demanding "just undelete it" and I want to see it done with this request.

When contacted to admin the reason given here was sharing of accounts. When asked again no response and on the 2nd request there are two more violations listed Can you please list all your violations at once, Or you think as you go? --Biswaranjan.das (talk) 14:24, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. This board is not a place to 'demand' anything' but merely a place for uncontroversial deletions and as a result of an AfD this by definition is not uncontroversial considering also Cirt's objection. The way forward is exactly the one outlined by Fabrictramp above. Start from a list of reliable sources that are not connected to your community, write a userspace draft based on them and bring it to deletion review because that is the place where we could correct it if necessary. --Tikiwont (talk) 14:32, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Example of reliable source? -Biswaranjan.das (talk) 14:39, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Can you give some example of reliable source? Ok can you reindex your web site so your broken link do not appear on google. I am fine not to be present on wikipedia? --Biswaranjan.das (talk) 14:39, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
WP:RS gives a general idea on reliable sources. The cache will clear by itself.--Tikiwont (talk) 14:53, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

thx.

At the time her article was deleted, she was not notable. Now, however, she has a new reality show that is set to debut in 3 weeks. Rather than starting a new article, it would be useful to edit the article as it was prior to deletion. -However whatever (talk) 15:46, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Done - as a contested proposed deletion, the article has been restored on request. Cheers, Arbitrarily0 (talk) 16:05, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
