TalkHeader

Hi, I noticed that you created Wikipedia talk:Requests for adminship/MelanieN containing only {{TalkHeader}} - checking back, I see that you did the same at Wikipedia talk:Requests for adminship/Titodutta. The template advises that it should not be added to otherwise empty talk pages. Do you do this often? --Redrose64 (talk) 18:03, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Problem with vote counter

Congrats at exceeding 100 !votes! I think you broke the counter! (kidding) Actually, since the numbers are recording properly in the text, I suspect it's just a problem with the bot that creates that little summary box. If it doesn't fix itself in a day or so, you might drop a note to the bot operator.--MelanieN (talk) 19:04, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • That's fine. Thanks. --TitoDutta 19:13, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
    • In fact the same thing is happening with mine. I have 86 votes but the counter shows 82. So it is the bot. --MelanieN (talk) 19:24, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
      • Yes, that's sad. Your suggestion seems to be the best. Wait for 12 hours or so, and then someone should go ahead to alert WT:RFA or bot-owner. Regards. (I started checking your edits and contribs, but could never finish it, as I am checking my watchlist in every 10 mins, do me a favour, please remind me on/after 19 (Jan), if I don't vote there till then.) Regards. --TitoDutta 19:31, 15 January 2015 (UTC) 19:31, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
        • I dropped a note at Chillum's talk page; not sure if they are the bot operator or not, but they were active in the history page of that bot. (Template:RfA tally) Actually Talk:RfA is a good suggestion, I'll drop a note there too. Yes, it is kind of hectic, isn't it? Good training for being an admin, where you never know what is going to drop into your inbox. --MelanieN (talk) 19:35, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Not the operator. Chillum 21:46, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
You both need to wait for Cyberbot I (talk · contribs) to update the counter, which is transcluded from User:Cyberpower678/Tally. Bot owner is Cyberpower678 (talk · contribs). --Redrose64 (talk) 19:38, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Titodutta and MelanieN: Got it. See this message - all bots went down at 18:00 (UTC) today, which is a few minutes after User:Cyberpower678/Tally was last updated. --Redrose64 (talk) 21:07, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
OK, that explains it. So things should all be back in operation within 24 hours, without anybody having to fix anything. Thanks, Redrose, very helpful. --MelanieN (talk) 22:13, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

TTT-2015 Registration

Hi, thanks for your interest to participate in TTT-2015. Could you please finish the second step of the registration process as outlined here? Thanks--Vishnu (talk) 13:21, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it is premature

to say congratulations on passing your RfA! 1 hour to go, and barring a massive asteroid strike on the planet, I would say you have the mop. It is a heavy burden, but you can do it, for the sake of the community. With all best wishes Irondome (talk) 18:47, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your request for adminship

Hi Titodutta, I have closed your request for adminship as successful. Congratulations! As always, the administrators' reading list is worth a read and the new admin school is most certainly available if you feel that you might require some practice with the tools in a safe environment prior to applying them elsewhere on the project. Good luck with your adminship! Acalamari 19:52, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations

Well done, have a t-shirt :-) Ronhjones  (Talk) 20:05, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

New user

Alreadt noticed our "newbie" JaguarEyes? Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 15:53, 22 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Just have a look at his contributions: he's focused at promoting the "Indigenous Aryans" perspective. I've already noted him that he looks like a SPA and NOTHERE; i expect problems with him. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 17:04, 22 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Sitush aready noticed this one, I guess. Others did so too. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 19:24, 22 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, Sitush did :) And RegentsPark also responded. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 20:01, 22 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Adopting me!

Hey, this is Cartermassey. I am best able to help Wikipedia by putting my astute grammatical skills to use by fixing sentence and paragraph flow. I am an IT support specialist by trade, so I usually am able to look at other code in the article and mimic its syntax, should I need to do any complex wiki editing. Despite this, I often get stumped because I lack a ground-up understanding of how to write an article.

Thanks in advance for your help adopting me! --CarterMassey (talk) 18:41, 23 January 2015 (UTC)cartermassey[reply]
