Fairview, Alberta (hamlet)
Fairview is a hamlet in southern Alberta, Canada, within Lethbridge County.[1] It is adjacent to the eastern boundary of Lethbridge, approximately 0.3 kilometres (0.19 mi) south of Highway 3. More specifically, it is located on southeast corner of Highway 4 (43A Street South) and Highway 512 (1 Avenue South).[2]
The Hamlet of Fairview is one of two different communities in Alberta that go by the name of Fairview. The Town of Fairview in northern Alberta is the more widely known of the two.[1]
Demographics
As a designated place in the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Fairview recorded a population of 154 living in 70 of its 81 total private dwellings, a change of -4.9% from its 2011 population of 162. With a land area of 0.16 km2 (0.062 sq mi), it had a population density of 962.5/km2 (2,492.9/sq mi) in 2016.[3]
