2020s

  • 2021 in British television – The recording and release of many TV programmes are expected to be delayed due to the COVID-XIX pandemic.
  • 2020 in British television – Many popular TV shows, such as Through the Keyhole and Take Me Out were axed. Due to the UK Conservative Government’s axing of the funding for free television licences for over-75s the BBC were forced to start charging for them again on 1 August. Brexitcast ends on TV 2 days prior to it ending on the radio. The BBC will also end its Red Button service. The production of many TV shows were halted due to the COVID-XIX pandemic.
