List of active military aircraft of the Philippines

The following is a list of active military aircraft of the Philippines.

Aermacchi S-211  Italy Ground attack aircraft AS-211 17[2] S.211 models were locally upgraded to AS-211 "Warrior" standard to conduct ground-attack missions.

The plan is to use these aircraft as jet trainers for screening and training prospective FA-50 pilots. 13 more units remain in storage.

36 older SF.260M & SF.260W models (designated as "MP" and "WP" respectively) were retrofitted with the Allison 250-B17D turboprop engine and are configured for light attack.[4]

24 older trainer SF.260TPs from the 1990s were augmented with 48 new trainer SF-260Fs (designated "FH") in 2012.[5]

Currently, PAF operates 1 C-130B and 2 C-130Hs.[8] The PAF bought 2 C-130Ts from the US Department of Defense, with both 2 units are all ready receive after October 9, 2016.[9] [10]

Seven aircraft still owned by PAF,[11] but only 2 remain active.

The F27-100 variant is used by the 250th Presidential Airlift Wing for VIP transport.

A 3rd aircraft (also used for transport, a Fokker F27-500F), was damaged after it made a faulty landing last May 11, 2015. It is now undergoing assessment if it is still repairable.[12]

In 2005, PAF acquired license and was able to rebuild 2 units into Huey IIs from kits available. Seven refurbished Dornier UH-1D units were acquired in 2015 but 2 lost in accidents.[21]

Five older aircraft were operated by the 250th Presidential Airlift Wing for VIP transport.[26] Three brand new 412EPs are temporarily added for the hosting of APEC 2015.[19]
