Rockvale Township is located in Ogle County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,770 and it contained 804 housing units.[1]

History

Rockvale Township was originally named Brooklyn Township, but changed its name on November 12, 1850.

Geography

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 35.64 square miles (92.3 km2), of which 34.76 square miles (90.0 km2) (or 97.53%) is land and 0.88 square miles (2.3 km2) (or 2.47%) is water.[1]
