Removal of data from the Brat Pack table
Hi PM, you have removed important data from the chart in the Brat Pack article without explanation (which is against Wikipedia policy), presumably in order to fit in the images that you added. If you would like to add those images to the article, do so in a gallery format, preferably at the bottom of the article. That way, they do not interrupt the article and the information you deleted remains. Thank you. Softlavender (talk) 06:05, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

ANI notice
Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Arctic Night 20:31, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
- PM800, you've been around long enough to know that a slow burning edit war lacking discussion is disruptive. If you keep it up and refuse to discuss your editing, you will get yourself blocked. Fences&Windows 01:20, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
- Just as a disclaimer, PM800 was the one refusing discussion here - while I certainly reverted PM800 a couple of times, I have tried to instigate a discussion on this also. However, PM800 has refused discussion - in fact, he has ignored me completely. Arctic Night 01:23, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
Just for those interested, here are some diffs of PM800 ignoring requests for discussion. PM800 was repeatedly requested to explain his actions: here, here, here, here and here. PM800 ignored each and every request. Arctic Night 01:30, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
- Precisely. One more revert = block for PM800. I've watchlisted the template and made a note about this on the talk page. Fences&Windows 01:38, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you, although I would really like to hear a rationale for this repeated removal (and the subsequent refusal to engage in discussion) from PM800. Arctic Night 01:43, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
Let's stay civil
Hi PM800 - while I was looking through your contribs regarding the Tyler Clementi thing (which I would, by the way, still like a rationale for), I noticed this, this and this. Vandals and other users might write dumb things (or things that might appear to us to be dumb) - we don't respond in kind, or else what does that make us? Arctic Night 01:54, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
I'm sure this was an accident...
Hello PM800, I'm sure this was only an honest mistake on your part, but your reversion of an IP's edit on Golden Tate, I assume on the pretense of reverting vandalism, actually introduced a factual inaccuracy into the article. I have reverted your honest mistake and added some reliable sources to back up the IP's edit. Arctic Night 00:34, 11 February 2011 (UTC)
- Same with this. It turns out the IP was correct. Arctic Night 01:37, 11 February 2011 (UTC)
Hello PM800. There is currently a discussion ongoing at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding your behaviour. This is just a courtesy note to let you know. Arctic Night 02:12, 11 February 2011 (UTC)
- As a Rutgersman, I note that Tyler Clementi's suicide is widely known around the campus and in NJ in general to be a result of bullying. — Rickyrab | Talk 15:53, 11 February 2011 (UTC)
Congrats.
Wikipedia has just lost over 100 Canadian DYKs I had in the works that could have been taken to GA or FA status thanks to your actions. I hope you're proud of yourself. You've got to think - are your smarmy comments worth the loss of valuable contributors? If you put the wiki before your own pride and ignorant mentality, you'll stop being such a dick and actually responding to people who comment on your talk page. If you put your own pride before the potential for over 100 article creations (read: the good of the wiki), by all means, continue with your comments.
Of course, I don't expect that you'll respond to this (although if you did, I'm sure it would be very redeeming for you... I'm saying this not as an angry editor but as an attempt to look objectively at the matter).
Wikipedia's just lost me as a contributor thanks to the crap you've been pulling. Respond to people, dammit. Arctic Night 03:34, 11 February 2011 (UTC)

Portman
See User_talk:Cresix#.3F.3F.3F_RE:_Portman. I'm telling you, it's generally discouraged. Most featured articles use that format as well. Estheroliver (talk) 01:09, 7 March 2011 (UTC)
- And also, I did have this same discussion before awhile ago with a couple editors at the Yao page. They basically told me, "Nice suggestion, but it's considered an overlink and your idea violates MoS. Any English-speaking person would know what an only child is." He is also not American or originally English-speaking himself, and that really says something. So, there you go. Estheroliver (talk) 01:16, 7 March 2011 (UTC)
- Additionally, you failed to explain to me why there needs to be so many separate sentences. I have noticed that while reading most Wikipedia articles, they just say, "___ was born in ___ to ___, a ___, and ___". They don't have random lines flying all over the same place. We could just say, "She is the only child of Avner and Shelley Hershlag", as it says in the Mariah Carey article, which is a featured article that still manages to describe both parents professions and backgrounds clearly. I'd be curious to see what you think of such a change. Estheroliver (talk) 04:05, 7 March 2011 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but I think that I have worked on the article enough to have the template. If were not for the revamps I did, the article might even be demoted right now. But I feel like you are starting to personally attack me, so please stop. I don't want these discussions to go on any further. I really don't like arguing or anything of the sort.
