The Vågåvatn lake (in the Norwegian language Vågåvatnet or "the Vågå lake") is located in Lom and Vågå municipalities, Oppland county, Norway. The river Otta, which begins in Skjåk municipality, flows into lake Vågåvatn. It then exits the Vågåvatn at Vågåmo and continues its journey through the Ottadal leaving Vågå municipality to meet the Gudbrandsdalslågen river at the town of Otta in Sel municipality.
The lake is 362 meters above sea level and has a surface area of 14.76 km², making it one of the 200 largest lakes in Norway.
