Welcome to the Rick Riordan task force of WikiProject Novels! We aim to create a standard of excellence for articles related to novels written by Rick Riordan. In general, this task force aims to organize, expand, and improve Wikipedia's encyclopedic coverage of articles that pertain to this author's works. Until November 2015, this task force was known as "WP:PJTF". View the discussion that led to our new name here.
Please make propositions or proposals, discuss issues, share ideas, and make comments at the RRTF General Forums.
If you are interested in joining the force, please read the guidelies stated below:
Members are encouraged to put {{WP:RRTF/Update}} and a project userbox on their userpages. Members are also encouraged to add the talk page to their watchlist. This will allow all users to receive and send courtesy updates about project activity, such as Collaborations.
Members must contribute to RRTF pages and RR articles constructively.
Members must actively participate in the affairs of the WikiProject to remain in "Active" status.
The project reserves the right to remove users from the "Active Members" list for any violation of Wikipedia or Taskforce policy. After reviewing these guidelines, just add
# {{user|YourNameHere}} at the bottom of the list below.
We appreciate IP addresses wanting to help, but we cannot accept members without accounts. Please create an account to join. Thanks!
If you are still interested and are ready to help full-time, please list yourself under the "active" heading.
If you are no longer interested, please place your name in the "inactive" section or remove your name entirely.
If you are unable to participate full-time, but still want to show your support, add/move your name to the "supporters" section.
No user in good standing may ever be removed from the following lists by another user, though they may be moved to a different section depending on their activity level. "Supporting" users will never have their names removed, except at their request.
Users below this line of text have requested to be listed as "inactive".
Derild4921 (talk·contribs) I will occasionally help out, but my primary focus now is the Warriors articles. This is user is retired. Thanks for all their past work!
Users below this line of text failed to respond to previous roll-calls. They will be re-invited every successive roll-call. If you see your name listed here, please move it to either "active", "inactive", or "supporters" based on your level of activity.
Ladywitchthought (talk·contribs) – I haven't read this series for a couple of years, but once I re-read them, I will hopefully find time in the holidays to help.
Brambleclawx (talk·contribs) Will occasionally help out. This is not my area of specialty though.
MeisMyself (talk·contribs) I will help out whenever I have the time. I can't guarentee that I have the time to do all the requirments to be active, though.
Alec scheat (talk·contribs) I`ll help whenever I see a mistake or so in the articles. Not sure how helpful I can be, but I`ll try and correct mistakes.
MegCahill (talk·contribs) I'll try and help out whenever I can. But lately I've been way to busy to even think about Wikipedia.
KF5LLG (talk·contribs) I have read all of the series books. Heroes of Olympus, the original percy jackson, and the kane chronicles.
LovelyEdit (talk·contribs) I've read all of PJO, HoO, and Kane Chronicles. Also willing to edit any pages related to those series.
Cassie Hawthorne (talk) 03:58, 5 April 2014 (UTC) I have read all of the Percy Jackson and Heroes of Olympus books, but I'm not an active editor. I usually only edit articles if their errors really bug me to the point of almost-insanity.[reply]
PrincessofLlyr (talk·contribs) I'm not very active right now, but still keep up with series and may eventually come back.
Elizium23 (talk·contribs) I am back after several months of hiatus. I will help in minor ways such as patrolling vandalism.
DocWatson42 (talk) 05:16, 9 May 2017 (UTC): Feel free to ask me any questions about editing, especially about copy editing, layout, formatting references, and other technical issues. I may not respond promptly, but I enjoy helping.[reply]
Benjamin112 (talk·contribs) I've been relatively busy as of late and I haven't read Riordan's series in a few years, but I eagerly hope that I may eventually come back more actively.
Not done: There may still be broken links related to the project's recent name change. If you encounter one, please either fix it or leave a note to 2ReinreB2, who coordinated the move. The to-do list for the name change can be found here.
Copyedit : Check for correct spellings (such as "di Angelo" rather than "Di Angelo"); check for duplicates of long character names on all pages (no need to write out first, middle, last every time).
Wikify : Add out-of-universe elements such as real-world reception and awards to everything; check Alex Fierro - appears to cite same Goodreads page as multiple references
Other : Please watch all Percy Jackson pages for vandalism using the Percy Jackson watchlist; Add any missing novels to Category:Novels by Rick Riordan
The following CCs are articles in need of improvement by RRTF members. The ultimate goal should be to achieve good article status for each and every article under our scope, but the following represent the most important pages in the most need. See this page for a useful template.
Editors are encouraged to use this sandbox for test edits. This will be checked regularly by RRTF members and necessary updates and corrections will be made. It is requested that an editor make test edits here instead of directly in the articles.
Please note: The parameters "percy-jackson-task-force" and "percy-jackson-importance" will generate the same template, and do not need to be changed for individual articles.
This is a list of recognized content, updated weekly by JL-Bot (talk·contribs) (typically on Saturdays). There is no need to edit the list yourself. If an article is missing from the list, make sure it is tagged or categorized (e.g. Category:Rick Riordan task force articles) correctly and wait for the next update. See WP:RECOG for configuration options.
