Silas Deane Middle School, Wethersfield is the only middle school in Wethersfield, Connecticut. SDMS, as it is commonly known, serves students in grades 7-8 with an average school-wide population of 500-700 students. It is currently home to 70 teachers. The current principal of Silas Deane Middle School is Mr. Steven Cook. The vice principal is Mr. Verderam.
