Wikipedia:Peer review/Volunteers

The following is a list of users who have volunteered to be contacted on their user talk pages for peer review participation. Editors beginning a peer review are strongly encouraged to seek out other Wikipedians for comment; because peer review often has close to two hundred nominations at a time, some reviews have gone without comment in the past. Please note that only volunteers in the last category are willing to do copyedits.

Be courteous in notifying people and understand that others may not always have the time for review. Check user contributions to make sure that the editor is recently active, and please do not send "review spam" to each individual listed below. Find 2-3 editors most interested in the article's subject area and give them time to respond.

If signing up for this list, describe your interests under the appropriate category. Ten subject matter categories are listed plus one for general copyediting. These are based on the Wikipedia 1.0 hierarchy. While very broad, they are canonical, and are intended to be stable; do not add new categories.

Also listed under the categories are various Wikiprojects where editors may turn for help on a peer review. If you would like to add a Wikiproject, be very sure it is active and produces results. Numerous projects have been started only to fail.
