Playhouse Disney in Asia is a 24-hour commercial-free television channel that was launched on January 1, 1994. Formerly a programming block on Disney Channel Asia weekdays from noon to 2:00 PM. The programs are similar to the Playhouse Disney Channel in the United States of America. However the channel may also carry some non-Disney programming like Clifford the Big Red Dog, Pororo the Little Penguin, and Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs. Programming on the channel is uninterrupted by commercials. Playhouse Disney Channel is available in the Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, South Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Brunei and Vietnam. Other Asian countries like India have their own version of the said channel.
