A lack of capitalisation in respect to the Emperor

On this article: Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War There is a lack of capitalisation on the following lines: "Without him there is nothing." "Hatred is the emperor's greatest gift to humanity."

In proper respect for our God Emperor, the words "him" and "emperor's" should in fact be "Him and "Emperor's"

+Thought of the day: It is better to die for the Emperor than to live for yourself.+ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 27.252.74.85 (talk) 01:48, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

    WP:EPHEMERAL

I'm confused by this. When I type "WP:EPHEMERAL" into the search box in the upper right of the screen and hit return, it takes me here, but when I tried to add WP:EPHEMERAL as a shortcut to that list of shortcuts, it resulted in a redlink, as it does here: ~. What's the deal? Is the search box just taking me to its first and closest page match and I'm misinterpreting that as a shortcut? And finally, where can I go if I want to propose that WP:EPHEMERAL become another shortcut to that article section? This page doesn't seem heavily traveled. Thanks friends! Cyphoidbomb (talk) 05:14, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Search box doesn't pay attention to case unless there's an article with that exact title (i.e. If you were to type "girls just wanna have fun" and the only article with that exact title is "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun", it'll take you there, ignoring the case. But if there's a redirect at "Girls just wanna have fun", it'll take you through the redirect instead, because that also matches the case.). Basically, it took you to WP:Ephemeral, which was what you searched, ignoring casing. - Purplewowies (talk) 06:00, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
A shortcut is just a redirect and WP: is just an alias for Wikipedia:. Redirects are cheap. If you want one at WP:EPHEMERAL then make it. PrimeHunter (talk) 14:45, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Ingie Wiki. Your question seems to show that you have several misunderstandings about how Wikipedia works. Please follow the links in the following:
    • "our article" - All articles belong to Wikipedia, not to anybody else. See WP:OWN.
    • "our" - Wikipedia accounts are for individuals only. Multiple people are not allowed to use the same account: they should each create a personal account. See WP:ROLE.
    • "PERMISSION" - Wikipedia is intended to be free to use as well as free to edit. For this reason, almost all material in Wikipedia must be licensed under a licence such as the CC-BY-SA licence, which allows it to be reused by anybody for any purpose. Since releasing material under such a licence is a reduction in the copyright holder's control, we require that the copyright holder license the material in a specific way: see Donating copyrighted materials.
    • Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, so articles must be written in a neutral way. Text from a subject's website is very unlikely to be suitable.
    • For the same reason, people who are closely connected from a subject are strongly discouraged from editing articles on the subject, because of their Conflict of interest. --ColinFine (talk) 13:23, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ditto. Apparently, The Annville Mill flour is sifted and bagged under the name of Daisy Organic Flour and most of the information added (now removed) was sourced to the daisyflour.com website. MCGgirl has been editing that article for two months with not much feedback, so there appears to have been a long term misunderstanding of how Wikipedia works. Given the age of Annville Mill and the amount of sources available, the article could include a lot of good information. The mill did appeared on a 1926 magazine cover[1]), so there probably is a good amount of source information between 1926 and today. -- Jreferee (talk) 15:57, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

    Article Title Not Changing

Hello, I am currently trying to publish an article about Fruit of the Loom's Start Happy Campaign. Below is the link to the page that I am trying to now edit, and my problem lies in the top article title section. I was wondering if you could let me know why I cannot remove where it says: "User:Mvoell1990." It has been live for 4 days now, and more than 10 edits have been made. Please let me know what I can do to solve this!

    User:Mvoell1990#Out-of-Home — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mvoell1990 (talkcontribs) 17:48, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I can see, that "article", which is actually on your user page, has been edited by 2 users, one of which has been registered for more than 4 days but made fewer than 10 edits, and the other has made more than 10 edits but registered only today. Hence neither is autoconfirmed and neither can move the article. This, however, is to your advantage, as if you had moved it to mainspace it would almost certainly been deleted immediately under the speedy deletion process, as it is unreferenced and has no evidence to demonstrate the notability of the subject. I have put a few links in a message on your user talk page, including to Your first article, but as a starting point you need to understand that a subject for an article must be notable in wikipedia's terms, which means having received significant coverage in a number of published reliable sources independent of the subject, and the information need to be verifiable by references to these sources. By the time you have updated the article to demonstrate the notability (if indeed the subject is notable), then you should have accumulated enough edits to do the move. - David Biddulph (talk) 18:08, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I see also that there still seems to be material copied from http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20131004005132/en/Fruit-Loom%C2%AE-Launches-%E2%80%9CStart-Happy%E2%80%9D-Brand-Platform, and I see from your user talk page that you were warned about copyright violation on a previous attempt at an article on the same subject. Copyright violation is equally unacceptable on your user page, so you need to delete the offending material immediately to avoid the page being deleted. - David Biddulph (talk) 18:13, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
In accordance with the user page guidelines, I have moved the draft to User:Mvoell1990/Start Happy.--ukexpat (talk) 18:14, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I would like to expand on Cuban cities and towns,as tourism is flourishing there and I have gotten countless questions from Americans and many other nationalities about a country I have traveled to and studied extensively.... and the US embargo is soon to end, likely in 2016. The information and lack of photography is somewhat poor.Much needs updating. I am involved extra-officially with the Office of the City Historian of Havana,Dr. Eusebio Leal Spengler.

My main problem is uploading photos, which is my own photography.

(e/c) @CaguayoMediterraneo: Hi CaguayoMediterraneo. I assume you have the photographs you want to use already on your computer. Go to the Wikimedia Commons, our sister project. Once signed up and logged in:
    1. Click on "upload file" on the left hand side of the page under participate;
    2. Click on "Back to the old form" at the top of the page just below the headline "Upload Wizard";
    3. Click on the first option for "It is entirely my own work"
    4. Click Browse; this will open up a dialogue box listing files on your computer;
    5. Through the dialogue box, navigate to the name of the file on your computer you wish to upload and double click it;
    6. Under Destination filename, choose a descriptive name in plain English (it will automatically start with the name of the file on your computer, that name may or may not already be good enough);
    7. Under author, your username will automatically be filled in, but if you want better attribution for your photos to yourself, and do not seek anonymity, you could place your own name their;
    8. Fill in the date field; and other fields such a fuller description than just provided by the title;\
    9. In the dropdown box for licensing, choose (I suggest): "Multi-license with CC-By-SA 3.0 and GFDL". Note that by doing so you are granting a free copyright license for other to reuse your work so long as they give you attribution, even for commercial purposes;
    10. Under Categories, see if you can find some good candidates, so that your picture can be better found and classified. It's often useful to find another image already there that is similarly situated, e.g. other photographs of Cuban places, and see what categories they are in;
    11. Tick the box for "watch this file" and then click Upload file.
Go to the section of an article here where you want to use a file you've uploaded and add [[File:File name.jpg|thumb|Caption text]] to the area of the article where you want the image to appear – replacing File name.jpg with the actual file name of the image, and Caption text with a short description of the image. See our picture tutorial for more information. Best regards--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 01:16, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

    incomplete information on an article.

I am referring to Carrie Underwood's 'See you again' Wikipedia page, under the heading 'Video'.

The article did a fine job detailing EVERY SINGLE clip that was featured...all except for one. The clip of the dog and woman being reunited after 3.5 years from PRISON.

I suppose it was a silly mix up.

Or is Carrie Underwood unbiased enough to feature MY VIDEO.....and Wikipedia, not so much??

    Lead length

Hello! I've read the instructions at WP:LEADLENGTH and I still don't have a clear idea. The given unit ("x paragraphs") is quite ambiguous, becase the standard length of a paragraph is not defined. Can you give me an approximation of the number of characters / lines required for the intro of the article Kingdom of Hungary? For the no of lines please consider the current dimension of the in the right of the page. 79.117.179.202 (talk) 07:05, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It's not a matter of counting words and lines - the question is whether the lead adequately summarises the entire article. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 08:07, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It would certainly be defensible to roughly double the length of the current lead section. BUT, as noted, the purpose of the lead section is to summarize the article. I don't think the current lead section does that: it's basically a list of the areas covered by the kingdom. Nothing about dynasties, nothing about being part of Austria-Hungary for quite a while, etc., etc. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 23:30, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

AFAIK only registered users can create books. As an IP user there is no way to reliably identify you so the system will never be able to tell what book belongs to you. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 08:04, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The book creator was reconfigured so that newly-registered accounts can save books as user sub-pages. bugzilla:46944. -- John of Reading (talk) 12:27, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Why does it allow IPs to even begin creating a book only to drop them without warning by simply failing to save it? Perhaps this should be another item for bugzilla. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 12:34, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
(e/c) From what I've just read and tested, it appears only registered, autoconfirmed users can save books in the book namespace. Registered but non-autoconfirmed users can save books in their userpage. IPs cannot save them at all, but can create them and download them or order them from pediapress. It looks to me like the problem is that if you're not saving as you go, and get a "loss of session data", or if a dynamic IP user's address changes in the middle, or if there's any kind of refresh, etc., the book will be gone, and even worse, IPs aren't told they can't save up front so they may work on it with that intention. I'm thinking we don't do enough in the front end of the book interface to tell people about this.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 12:41, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

    Repeated citations in infoboxes

I fix a lot of broken references, but one problem has me stumped. In Assassin's Creed II and James Deen, repeated citations in infoboxes show up in the reference section with "Cite error: The named reference ... was invoked but never defined". I've had a look in Help:Cite errors/Cite error references no text, but everything seems fine with the repeated citations. They just seem to fail when repeated in an infobox. Is this a bug, and if so, is there a workaround? Thanks for the help, Ruby Murray 14:22, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(e/c) I think the actual problem at James Deen was that yesterday's edit to {{Infobox adult biography}} accidentally dropped support for the "alias" parameter. I have fixed that, so the alias parameter should work again, with any references it defines. -- John of Reading (talk) 15:12, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate Page - one is incorrect

    Hi there,

We (Daler-Rowney)seem to have two pages on Wikipedia and really we only need one. One of the pages has a hypen between Daler and Rowney, like this: daler-rowney Daler-Rowney and the other does not (daler rowney) Daler Rowney. The page with the hyphen is correct but the other page could either be redirected to the correct page or could be deleted. Could you tell me how to do this please?

Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by DRwebmaster (talkcontribs) 14:41, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Daler Rowney was actually a redirect to George Rowney. I have edited it to redirect to Daler-Rowney.--ukexpat (talk) 14:45, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I've placed a few tags on the article - the major editor has an obvious COI, the tone and content is highly advertorial, there are no secondary independent sources and no assertion of notability. It is IMHO very close to A7 or G11 Speedy deletion. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 16:04, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I think the solution is to merge George Rowney into Daler-Rowney - that should deal with the A7 issue, supplying J. M. W. Turner probably counts an indication of importance or significance. The G11 issue can be dealt with by further editing and there must be more sources out there somewhere.--ukexpat (talk) 17:39, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

    looking for stats

I was wondering how many of the articles I tagged for deletion actually get deleted. So I went to the deletion log tag - right? And there I got 1 article returned. Why do I not see anything else? I know I've speedied more than that - even just today (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3ALog&type=pagetriage-deletion&user=Antiqueight&page=&year=&month=-1&tagfilter=). I know I can go through my contributions but I was curious about this...Any ideas? -- 🍺 Antiqueight confer 16:17, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Odd. The log goes back to September 2012, and does include entries with redlinks, which eliminates at least one theory of mine. If you don't get any answer here, then WP:VPT is the place to ask next. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 22:49, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yes my first thought was that everything I tagged was deleted! Then I thought that was unlikely so I checked other users. And while the log goes back a ways, my tagging is less than 2 months old...So I was stumped. I'll try WP:VPT tomorrow though it does seem like you will be the only reply here :-) -- 🍺 Antiqueight confer 23:37, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Have you used Page Curation for other deletion tags than [3]? PrimeHunter (talk) 00:23, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Possibly but certainly not very often. I currently tend to go with twinkle or huggle for deletion tags. I found page curation hard because I was new. It was less complicated to go for vandalism and obvious problems - as the particular deletion tag above indicated. I was (and still am) unsure about notability.. Is that it - is it only showing page curation deletion tags? Is there any other way I can get what I have tagged and what has been deleted so I can check my accuracy on this? (simply without going through all my contributions?)-- 🍺 Antiqueight confer 00:31, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
@Antiqueight: If you send me an email, I'll email you back an Excel spreadsheet with your deleted contributions log in it. From that you can count your deletions (after removing the false positives – pages you edited that were deleted not based on your taggings). Since you always use "speedy" in your edit summary, you can then cross-reference against all pages you've tagged for speedy deletion that still exist, from this search (plus this and this). You have no others in any namespaces but possibly for some in the user talk namespace. Unfortunately, in that namespace the search finds all of your warnings where you used "speedy" in the edit summary, so you might miss a few there.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 01:11, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It's a bit more complicated than going through your contributions, because edits of deleted pages aren't included in Special:Contributions, and aren't visible to non-admin editors. (The rationale is a diff [aka "contribution" aka "edit"] can be linked to, and so if diffs related to deleted articles were visible, much of the point of deleting the article - copyright infringement, WP:BLP problems, whatever - would be ineffective.) -- John Broughton (♫♫) 01:09, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
True - I won't be able to tell for sure if my tag was the reason the page was deleted but it should give me a lead on my tagging ability if I tagged it for deletion and the page is gone..Not perfect..And really all I was going to do if it wasn't possible to check somehow in an automated fashion was to go through my contributions which show a red link when the page is gone..The snottywong tool mentioned above should help anyway too - I can check back my last 500 edits and see if I am doing ok or not..If there are loads of articles surviving my deletion tagging then I'm off on the wrong track after all..
    Thanks for the help!-- 🍺 Antiqueight confer 01:39, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ah - hmm, that tool just shows what survived...still, good to see what I shouldn't have tagged..-- 🍺 Antiqueight confer 02:29, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

    Writing up references

Hi there, I'm entering a new page. thing is I don't know what you mean by references and sources. The guy I'm writing about is actually in contact with me so I'm getting it mostly from emails that he's sending me. He'd like me to write it for him. I offered, he deserves it like he's quite famous now. So, what do I put as it's a new page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by StuGauntlett (talkcontribs) 16:24, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you read about reliable sources, you will see that to satisfy Wikipedia's verifiability requirement we need significant mentions of the subject in published sources independent of the subject. Information that you have received directly from the subject counts as original research, and is not acceptable as a source for a Wikipedia article. I'll put some more useful links on your user talk page. - David Biddulph (talk) 16:48, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The astronomical researcher Adnan Al-Shawafi reveals the secret behind the movement of planet Pluto

The astronomical researcher Adnan Al-Shawafi reveals the secret behind the movement of planet Pluto

“The planet of Pluto is a planet that is coupled with its moon Charon and it rotates around a phantom mass outside its center at a distance of 5,400 km, and that Pluto is subject to all laws in the area of astronomy and physics" Researcher :Adnan Ali Abdulkhleq Al-Shawafi

I hope your kind to publish the above subject How the researcher concluded this discovery The above-mentioned discovery is just a result reached through eight new compound laws based on physic-mathematical formulas proven by mathematical logic that cannot be disputed. These rulesreveals the secret of universal balance from the moon up to the galaxy and a key for new scientific horizon to discover the matter or the universe without exaggeration since the astronomy science needs such input for the time being. In addition, I wish to table Adnan’s laws and formulas on universal balance for discussion by internationally-recognized judgment institutions and experts either through correspondence or face to face! Best regards Adnan Al-Shawafi — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alshawafi (talkcontribs) 16:31, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

See Wikipedia's No Original Research policy. Submit your findings to a respected astronomy journal. Wikipedia can't write about it until it has been published in reliable sources. Jc3s5h (talk) 16:47, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
There is absolutely nothing new in what you describe as a "discovery", Isaac Newton explained it hundreds of yeas ago. Western children learn this stuff in high school. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 17:01, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
An oblique view of the Pluto–Charon system showing that Pluto orbits a point outside itself.
Charon (moon)#Classification as a moon or dwarf planet even has a nice animation showing it. PrimeHunter (talk) 18:16, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
In other words, it's not original research, and it's already been published, and it is not a secret. Pluto and Charon do rotate around a center point, and Pluto is subject to all laws of astronomy and physics. Just because something is worded strangely doesn't make it original research, but it is better to state something that is attested by reliable sources in the way that the reliable sources state it. Robert McClenon (talk) 01:20, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The "new compound laws" probably either aren't new, or are original restatements of reliably stated wording of known laws. Robert McClenon (talk) 01:21, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A possible gender categorisation issue brewing...

I probably don't need to remind most readers of the huge "Women authors category" scandal of a few months ago. Please take a look at Special:Contributions/NorthernThunder. The problem is that Category:Women in politics is basically a container for hundreds of subcategories, no individual female politicians are directly listed in this category. Contrast that with Category:Men in politics which is a relatively "crude" unsorted arbitrary list of male politicians and the category is being considered for deletion. The absence of equal treatment might just blow up into a new media storm. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 17:25, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The discussion is here: Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2013 October 29#Category:Men in politics, and I strongly encourage anyone interested in the issue to post at that location, not here. (I also note that the category being proposed for deletion is new, and has only 155 entries.) -- John Broughton (♫♫) 22:42, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

    expired copyright?

For a proposed article about an author and public figure, now deceased, I would like to use a photo of him published on the back page of his novel in 1952. The photo has a credit to the photographer, but no copyright notice. I would not post this on Wikimedia but only in the article. May I?

The publisher no longer exists and the holder of the copyright on the novel is dead.Paul D Nelson (talk) 17:40, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This would be a good question for WP:MCQ. That's where all the copyright experts hang out. RudolfRed (talk) 17:57, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
In general for a work published in 1952, the copyright will have expired unless it was renewed. if it was renewed, it will still be under copyright. However if it was never published, different rules apply. Those get Life of the author plus 70 years, or 120 years from date of creation if no author can be identified. So an unpublished photo (or text) from 1952 would still be under copyright. See this page for more details. DES (talk) 18:14, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
And if it is still under copyright, someone owns it. The death of the original copyright owner just means that it would have become an asset of the deceased's estate just like their other assets.--ukexpat (talk) 18:26, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree with DES. I believe that if it was first published after 1922, it is still covered by copyright. But you should check with an expert. Maproom (talk) 22:14, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Did you check the source that I listed? I did a good deal of copyright stuff for Distributed Proofreaders, and while I am not a lawyer, consider myself fairly knowledgeable on the subject. i can tell you that at Project Gutenberg adding items published after 1923 but not after 1964 that did not have a copyright renewal was a MAJOR part of the activity. The source I linked to says "1923 through 1963 / Published with notice but copyright was not renewed / Copyright Term: None. In the public domain due to copyright expiration" with a note that says " A 1961 Copyright Office study found that fewer than 15% of all registered copyrights were renewed. For books, the figure was even lower: 7%. See Barbara Ringer, "Study No. 31: Renewal of Copyright" (1960), reprinted in Library of Congress Copyright Office. Copyright law revision: Studies prepared for the Subcommittee on Patents, Trademarks, and Copyrights of the Committee on the Judiciary, United States Senate, Eighty-sixth Congress, first [-second] session. (Washington: U. S. Govt. Print. Off, 1961), p. 220. A good guide to investigating the copyright and renewal status of published work is Samuel Demas and Jennie L. Brogdon, "Determining Copyright Status for Preservation and Access: Defining Reasonable Effort," Library Resources and Technical Services 41:4 (October, 1997): 323-334. See also Library of Congress Copyright Office, How to investigate the copyright status of a work. Circular 22. [Washington, D.C.: Library of Congress, Copyright Office, 2004]. The Online Books Page FAQ, especially "How Can I Tell Whether a Book Can Go Online?" and "How Can I Tell Whether a Copyright Was Renewed?", is also very helpful." alsoi this site says "Published from 1923 - 63 / 28 years + could be renewed for 47 years, now extended by 20 years for a total renewal of 67 years. If not so renewed, now in public domain" this site shows a similar rule. This site says "Published, or copyright registered, between 1950 and the end of 1963 / 28 years for first term, and could have been renewed for 67 years (total of 95 years). ... If the copyright was not timely renewed, copyright expired at the end of the first 28 year term." http://chart.copyrightdata.com/#top shows a similar rule. Editing help

An article subject which I am affiliated with, Studley, Inc., recently had the majority of it's content removed and has been reduced to a stub. I firmly believe the subject is meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines and that all of the references were valid and should not have been taken down. I am asking for the help of somebody to please restore the most recent content on that page. From there I am not opposed to the necessary measures of having any inadequate references removed or correcting any 'advertising' language. Please help. Thank you. RyLaughlin (talk) 21:27, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Some pretty aggressive deletions - see this version, for comparison. The deletion of the following citation, and the related information in the article, for example, seems to me very questionable:
Hellman, Peter (2004). Shaping the Skyline: The World According to Real Estate Visionary Julien Studley. Hoboken, New Jersey: Wiley. pp. 80–81. ISBN 0471657662.
John Wiley & Sons isn't exactly a vanity publisher. I'm going to ping User:Justlettersandnumbers, who did the massive deletion, to see if he/she would explain why he/she thinks a totally gutted article is preferable to one with COI and vanity issues. (It has been more than six weeks since the massive deletion, so it doesn't look as if he/she is going to do any repairs.) -- John Broughton (♫♫) 22:28, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
For those who, unlike John Broughton, are not necessarily familiar with the background here: COIN discussions are Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard/Archive 64#RyLaughlin and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard/Archive 66#RyLaughlin; User talk:RyLaughlin has a number of attempts to engage with him by various editors, including myself. I don't disagree with RyLaughlin's suggestion that the company is probably notable. I don't see anything particularly "aggressive" in the edits I made to the article, but am open to discussion on that. Wikipedia articles are supposed to evolve by interested but uninvolved editors adding relevant material to them. COI editing disables that process. The article will doubtless evolve over time. Of course I have no objection to the Hellman source being added back to it if that seems desirable. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 00:17, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
One of the sentences in the above noted version reads: "Additionally, Studley has represented major law firms in every market in the United States,[19] including each of the top five of The American Lawyer's 2013 Top 100 Law Firms.[20][21][22][23][24][25]" That appears to be synthesis of published material that advances a position (e.g. linking to seven published materials to advance the position that Studley has represented major law firms in every market in the United States, including each of the top five of The American Lawyer's 2013 Top 100 Law Firms). I have no objection to some of the material being returned to the article so long as the person returning the material to the article confirms that each reference used to support the material summarizes the information and rather than synthesizes it. It also seems fine to leave the change as is and let uninvolved editors add in sourced material over time. -- Jreferee (talk) 10:21, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Looking at the deleted text closer, I don't think any of it should be returned: "the worldwide (implied) pioneer of tenant representation," (there's no sourcing to support "pioneer") "handed the rein" (p.r. speak), "next generation of leaders" (cite? how do you know they are "leaders"?), "spearheaded by" (P.R. speak), "Their services include acquisition and disposition, financial and strategic consulting, site planning and selection, transaction negotiation, design and construction consulting, strategic consulting, project management, planning and forecasting, cost control, implementation management, development services, supply chain and logistics, strategic planning and finance, incentives maximization, portfolio management and lease administration." (are you sure you didn't leave anything out? Where is the independent sourcing to support this? Without independent sourcing, there is no way for Wikipedia editors to know objectively whether Wikipedia readers will care for such information.), "represented many notable companies" (what makes them notable and where is the source for that?), "Studley pioneered the commercial real estate market survey"(pioneered? really? is that a fact capable of being proven true and established as being true or p.r. speak? where's the sourceing); "Studley also boasts two winners" (So Wikipedia also should boasts the two Studley winners as well). -- Jreferee (talk) 10:40, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Can somebody please assist me with edits? I will be happy to supply primary and secondary sources. I don't think the page should be deleted because of an editors inexperience with Wikipedia. There was no harm meant to be done here. 206.17.130.140 (talk) 15:52, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If editors independent of the company supply information supported by published reliable sources independent of the subject, and if this information demonstrates notability, then this can be noted at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Studley, Inc. and the deletion nomination would be unlikely to succeed. - David Biddulph (talk) 16:08, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict)If you will post links to online sources at Talk:Studley, Inc., along with a suggestion of what those sources support, i will be happy to look at them and edit the article if I find relevant content. For thisa purpose, it is highly desirable that all or most of the sources be reliable sources, in this case meaning that they are independent of the article's subject, published, not blogs or otherwise self-published, with some reputation for accuracy, and that they discuss the subject in some depth -- directory listings are of no use at all, and mere one-sentence passing mentions are of almost no use. Ideally there should be several paragraphs or more in a source that discuss the subject. DES (talk) 16:13, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your offer DES, I've gone ahead and done just that. I tried to be thorough and posted several links, so please don't interpret that as me expecting you to cite each one. I appreciate any time you put in. RyLaughlin (talk) 21:18, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why is that policy called Biographies of living persons?

Does that mean if someone dies(or have died for some time), we can write on that person more freely than if they were living? Is there any examples of the difference?--朝鲜的轮子 (talk) 14:27, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

We usually extend the policy for a short time after death but see Defamation, usually limited in the U.S. to apply only to the living. Rmhermen (talk) 15:11, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
(ec) Yes, it applies to living and (sometimes) recently dead people. See WP:BLP for more info. RudolfRed (talk) 15:13, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Note however that the verifiability and WP:NPOV policies, and the notability guideline still apply to articles about people long dead, as to all other articles. DES (talk) 15:28, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
So why don't we just apply this policy to all people, no matter living or dead? Is it because it will be too limiting to writing articles?--朝鲜的轮子 (talk) 22:52, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Because living people can be personally harmed, and also because they can sue, we are supposed to take extra care with articles about them and pages that mention them. I think the BLP policy, or those who invoke it, soemtiems goes too far, but it is policy, and IMO it is far better than the situation we had before it was passed (in the wake of the Wikipedia biography controversy). DES (talk) 22:57, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
When a bio subject dies, BLP no more applies, so I'll Be Glad When You're Dead You Rascal You. Jim.henderson (talk) 23:07, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Are there actually any difference? For example, are there any contents that are considered inappropriate by BLP but are appropriate after their subject has died?--朝鲜的轮子 (talk) 06:09, 1 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

    • If you want to upload an image from your computer for use in an article, you must determine the proper license of the image (or whether it is in the public domain). If you know the image is public domain or copyrighted but under a suitable free-license, upload it to the Wikimedia Commons instead of here, so that all projects have access to the image (sign up). If you are unsure of the licensing status, see the file upload wizard for more information. Please also read Wikipedia's image use policy.
    • If you want to add an image that has already been uploaded to Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons, add [[File:File name.jpg|thumb|Caption text]] to the area of the article where you want the image to appear – replacing File name.jpg with the actual file name of the image, and Caption text with a short description of the image. I am concerned that whereas the previous File:Famous Turkish Cypriot people.png stated that it was a derivative work, and credited the original works on which it was based, your new File:Famous turkish cypriots.jpg apparently has no such declaration or attribution. Which image? I see two, both of buildings probably within the town. --NeilN talk to me 18:15, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Heh, missed that. If the man wasn't there I would say keep the pic but since it's obviously a posed photo, I wouldn't complain if you removed it. --NeilN talk to me 18:23, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks...glad you felt the humor in my reply. ```Buster Seven Talk 18:26, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding that photo, I think removing it would fall under the guideline "Contributors should be judicious in deciding which images are the most suitable for the subject matter in an article." It is, after all, not a particularly good example of the church.  drewmunn  talk  18:32, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    I have removed it. TY ```Buster Seven Talk 18:35, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
My main issue with the page is it's placeholder flag/crest. I don't usually deal with City infoboxes, but I very much doubt they should be there. If they're removed, the section for them disappears, and the infobox looks much better.  drewmunn  talk  18:20, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed the placeholders as their use is now deprecated (see WP:PLACEHOLDER). In any event, one image in such a short article is sufficient.--ukexpat (talk) 18:36, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

    ImaCor

Hi I have a page called ImaCor which has 9 references. The error message indicates that the reflist is missing but it is not. Can you help me with this? Samcgarrigle (talk) 18:03, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Note I have CSD'd that page for various copyright infringements. It's also pretty much the definition of a spam article. --NeilN talk to me 18:13, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) You had left a reference open, so the content of the page from there on was not recognised, including the reflist. Although I fixed the issue, the page itself is nominated for deletion, and from a glance at the content, is likely to be deleted soon. May I suggest you take this opportunity to look at WP:CITING and Template:Cite web to get a better idea on how to lay out your citations to improve their accuracy.  drewmunn  talk  18:15, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I also replied at the Teahouse, but I used reflinks on it, which did the trick. I am not sure what was wrong, but it is now fixed. Thanks, Matty.007 18:21, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I made a small start on cleaning up the article, making it more encyclopedic and less promotional. But it's got a long way to go, and is likely to be deleted anyway. Maproom (talk) 18:41, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How I can report that page to protect it from unrecognized users? --Spacejam2 (talk) 18:10, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Go to WP:RfP and request it is semi-proected. This will stop anonymous editors, or those who are not yet autoconfirmed, from altering the content. You'll have to provide a reason though, and a couple of diffs from the page history may help as evidence.  drewmunn  talk  18:15, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Maximino Devan Perez (The Youngest Digital Performer)

Maximino D. Perez a.k.a. Devan Ibiza(born December 20, 1998) is a young Hispanic digital performer who has mastered the futuristic technology known as the "Emulator". He was born in the Bronx, New York.

    Life and Career

Devan Ibiza was born Maximino D. Perez, the son of Maximino Perez, Jr. and Jessica Delvalle. He also has two sisters. Born to the mix of the driving rhythms of Latin music and hip hop floating in through the open windows of summertime in the boogie down Bronx, by the age of 3, Maximino Devan Perez was finding his way around his Dad’s recording studio and creating “crazy baby beats”! By 6, he had programmed his first song. His Dad, Mighty Max, the multi-talented New York Producer, Songwriter and Audio Engineer provided Devan with the tools and guidance necessary to pursue his passion and future aspirations. As Devan’s music abilities were the rise, Devan had to have a name that embodied where his talent could take him and at 6, he was reborn Devan Ibiza, named for the Latin DJ mecca, the Spanish Island of Ibiza. The rarest gem of all islands, it is here where DJ’s provide non-stop 24 hour a day rhythms driving the world’s party. This is the name...this is the goal...and everyday, Devan challenges himself to make the party happen!

Credited as the “Youngest Digital DJ”, Devan began his DJ career at 11 performing at venues usually reserved for those with years more experience, including, game performances as the featured guest DJ at Madison Square Garden for the New York Knicks and again for the New York Liberty team. In 2011, he was the DJ for the Kidz Bop ‘Kidz Star USA Talent Search’ to name a few of the highlights. Always motivated to give back any way he could, Devan was the youngest DJ ever to take part in the yearly Make-A-Wish Foundation Gala. Devan attended and performed at the 2012 Latin Mix Awards show and was the youngest DJ for the 2012 INTEL iSEF Conferences which is the world’s largest international pre-college science competition that annually provides a forum for more than 1,500 high school students from over 70 countries, regions, and territories to showcase their independent research. In 2013, Devan Ibiza was again their guest DJ in San Franciso and again later that year in Arizona. Now at the age of 14, Devan has become a master of balance as well, putting school and education first and every other waking minute towards his music building the groundwork for a long and rewarding career.

As Devan has progressed in his mastery of technology, another opportunity presented itself through his Dad. Devan's Dad, Max, was experimenting with and promoting the use of Emulator Pro equipment for a number of his clients and had the equipment in his home studio between gigs. Undaunted, Devan began experimenting with the equipment as well and due to his success at such a young age, Devan came to the attention of SmithsonMartin, Inc. creators of the Emulator Pro. The company saw the marketing brilliance of representing the future of DJ’ing not only via innovative software programs controlled by multi-touch screens, but also by having a young talent take the equipment into venues where it would receive great exposure to young people. Devan was selected by SmithsonMartin to help pioneer the use of this technology in his mixes and DJ’ing gigs.

Devan is currently preparing to tour with the Emulator Pro where crowds will not only be able to hear and dance to Devan’s creative mixes, but they will also be able to see Devan work the technology on a huge transparent screen bringing the 3rd dimension to his Parties. Devan Ibiza is lighting the way for the Digital Performances of the future. In the world of DJ’s, Devan Ibiza, a name to remember...once you’ve heard him, you won’t forget the Party!

Articles for Creation would be a better place for this. Also, you can only upload images after you have been autoconfirmed, which requires a minimum number of edits (10), and a minimum of 4 days to have passed since account creation. Then, you may use the upload form to upload an image. However, you must make sure the image is correctly licensed. Looking through the content of your article, however, I doubt it will pass the notability checks and is unlikely to become a live article.  drewmunn  talk  18:25, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

According to your contributions https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Log/Bahooka you (or somebody logged in as you) made the edit at 07:04 on 19 October. You made an edit about an hour before perhaps somebody else used your computer? MilborneOne (talk) 21:06, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for looking into that. I generally stay logged in, but it looks like I may need to discontinue that. While you are looking at edits, can you determine why the information on my edits at ANI were removed on 10/25 at 17:25 and 20:53? The edit looks like it is still there according to my contribution history, but the posting information has been struck through with no diffs available. Thanks, Bahooka (talk) 21:13, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
A lot of consecutive edits were oversighted, probably because one or a few of them added something that had to be hidden from public view. If oversighting is performed at a later time then all subsequent page revisions containing the offending material also have to be oversighted even if those editors did nothing wrong. I've now tried two times to transfer File:East Berlin street sign for Marx-Engels-Platz and television tower, 1984.jpg to Commons using CommonsHelper with direct upload (with my TUSC username/password) and got success messages, no hint of an error - but still it didn't work. Appropriate content

If a person is arrested for murder (and it is notable and it is in reliable sources), is it OK to list that person's name in a Wikipedia article? Or does that violate BLP? Please advise. Thanks. -- Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 04:30, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Footnote 6 to BLP Persons accused of crime reads: "Generally, a conviction is secured through court or magisterial proceedings. Accusations, investigations, and arrests on suspicion of involvement do not amount to a conviction. BLPCRIME applies to low-profile individuals and not to well-known individuals, in whose cases WP:WELLKNOWN is the appropriate policy to follow." -- Jreferee (talk) 04:37, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Are you asking about this edit to Abductive's post. There also is Wikipedia:Protecting children's privacy. -- Jreferee (talk) 04:57, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I am confused. That policy relates to the "protection" of Wikipedia editors who are children, no? What does that have to do with my question? Thanks. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 13:58, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That's was I get for not looking closely. Wikipedia:Minors and persons judged incompetent is an essay about editing about minors should be especially protective of their rights in light of BLP. It's only an essay, but when you combine minor (age 14) with accuse of a crime, I think consensus usually would fall on not including the name of the person in the article. Consensus could go the other way, so your request to discuss the issue is not unreasonable. -- Jreferee (talk) 15:38, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I didn't even know about that policy, but it didn't seem right to stink up the articles on a town and a high school with sordid details such as the name of the arrested 14-year-old. Abductive (reasoning) 06:05, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
How is an individidual's name a "sorded" detail exactly? (See definition of "sordid" here.) Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 13:53, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, given all of the applicable policies, is it or is it not appropriate to include the name of an accused murderer in a high-profile murder case (i.e., both national and international news coverage) that has a multitude of reliable sources? Please advise. Thanks. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 13:52, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It depends on who the accused is. If it's someone who is well-known and in the public eye, and the murder accusation has been extensively reported upon, then it's acceptable (bearing in mind the usual requirements for neutrality and sourcing). If the accused is not famous for any other reason, then no, they should not be named until a conviction is secured. In the Danvers case, to which I presume you're referring, it isn't appropriate to name the accused; arraignment is not conviction. Yunshui  13:59, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Nobody is claiming that arraignment/accusation is a conviction. By that same reasoning, why would we name James Eagan Holmes, who only stands accused and not convicted of the 2012 Aurora shooting? Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold were children; they were never convicted of a crime; they were not famous prior to the killings. Given your statements above, how do you reconcile this discrepancy? (There are a multitude of other examples in Wikipedia that contradict your statement above.) Please advise. Thanks. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 14:02, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
WP:BLPCRIME says: "For people who are relatively unknown, editors must give serious consideration to not including material in any article suggesting that the person has committed, or is accused of committing, a crime unless a conviction is secured." In addition, this is a child and the article is about the city and not about the subject or the case. I see no reason to name him. PrimeHunter (talk) 14:10, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Once again ... Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold were children; they were never convicted of a crime; they were not famous prior to the killings. Given your statements above, how do you reconcile this discrepancy? Please advise. Thanks. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 14:10, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
In the instance that the murder receives sufficient coverage to make it a well-documented, historic event - and thus warrants a standalone article itself - then a case could be made for naming him in that article. In an article about the town, or even the school, there is no reason to name the accused, and as PrimeHunter points out, good reasons not to. Yunshui  14:17, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Deciding whether an accused should be treated in a standalone article under WP:PERP and whether to list a name of a person accused of a crime in an article not about the accused are different issues. -- Jreferee (talk) 15:38, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    No it wouldn't, see the extract from WP:BLPCRIME above.--ukexpat (talk) 15:57, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free image and its Commons' counterpart

I found this image File:VillaSavoye.jpg in en-wiki to be not-completely free ('Do not copy to Commons'). There is however File:Vista exterior Villa Savoye.JPG in Commons, which shows very similar view of the same object. How should I tag the enwiki image? Template {{Duplicate}} doesn't seem to be applicable here, also {{Now Commons}} is not appropriate as that is neither an 'exact' nor a 'scaled copy', but I couldn't find a template to say 'there is a very similar image in Commons to be used instead this one'. --CiaPan (talk) 07:46, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Simply replace the non-free image in the article with the one from Commons. Non-free images that are not used in any articles are routinely deleted because their fair use rationale becomes invalid. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 09:13, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It may be more subtle than that, because File:VillaSavoye.jpg is not marked as a non-free image; in fact it is in Category:All free media. I don't know the answer. I have linked to a couple of different pages, where I have founded my facts. I have linked, from some underside from this mainsite. It's some danish links i have made, therefore not meaning if I posted them here on danish - www.xmoke.com.

You will probably be able to figure out why by reading our external link guidelines including what types of links are inappropriate for an encyclopedia article and why links may not be appropriate. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 14:31, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You say that you had put in the links "to substantiate my argument and facts". If the links are to sources which Wikipedia regards as reliable sources, then you may, and probably should include the links in the form of [[WP:Introduction to citations. If they are not reliable sources (for example if they are to blogs or forums, then they are not acceptable as references, and probably not as external links either. As long as they are reliable sources, it is fine if they are in Danish: English sources are preferable if they are available, but if not, foreign-languages sources may be used.
One other point: you refer to your "argument". This may be a translation issue, but please be aware that no Wikipedia should advance an argument unless it is summarising an argument in a referenced source: otherwise it would be original research, which is not permitted. --ColinFine (talk) 17:52, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Joseph D. Lyons House, Sunderland, MD

    Joseph D. Lyons House (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)

Although the house itself is on the National Register of Historic Sites, it is privately owned, and is a private residence, not open to the public. Please be advised that the photo with this article was taken by a trespasser, without the consent or knowledge of the property's owners, and was put on Wikipedia without our knowledge or consent. This is not only an invasion of our privacy, it is a nuisance in many ways, since it leaves the public thinking the home is open for visitation, and also give potential thieves and/or vandals detailed information.

Please remove this photo from this Wikipedia site! The text is public information, but not the photo!

The article has been up with the photo for some time--we requested that it be removed, and for awhile you did remove it. We don't know who put this photo on the article again;--we suspect it was the very discourteous person who trespassed to take the photo. This person has no right to use this photo on a public site, and has no permission to do so.

We further strongly suggest that you do not accept any other articles or photos from this person particularly if the subjects are other historic properties in the southern Maryland area. He or she is dishonest, and has more than likely trespassed on other private properties.

    Sincerely,

The owners (and residents) of the Joseph D. Lyons House, Sunderland, MD. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.250.104.101 (talk) 15:39, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have edited the article to make it clear that the house is privately owned and not open to the public. As to your allegations about the photo, you have absolutely no evidence that the photographer was trespassing - they could have used a telephoto lens from a public place, and that is perfectly legal.--ukexpat (talk) 15:52, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I've notified the editor who uploaded the image of the discussion here.Naraht (talk) 16:10, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
My casual inspection of the situation appears to be this: Looking at aerial views of the property, I suspect the image was taken from Wayside Drive or Solomons Island Road (both publicly accessible roads), with either a decent lens or zoom. If so, I think we would need an extraordinary situation to consider it trespassing, if it were taken from a public space (the road). We have myriad more pictures just like this of other private homes. Also, here is another picture on a different public site. Chris857 (talk) 16:27, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Even if the photographer had been trespassing (which has not been established) that would be a matter between the photographer and the property owner, and no business of Wikipedia's. It would not affect the copyright in the photograph at all. In general, under US law, a person is entitled to take pictures of private property from any public street or other publicly accessible location, and doing so is fully legal. There are particular exceptions. DES (talk) 16:33, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I took the picture from public property on Wayside Drive with an appropriate lens for the task: as I recall it was a moderate telephoto shot (105mm to be exact, hardly a long lens) with some cropping of the image, and I never even got out of my car. The house is clearly visible from the road. I never trespass on private property when I am documenting NRHP properties. That said, I also understand and respect the concerns of private property owners, and as a courtesy to the owner, will remove the image from the house's article, with a note to that effect. Acroterion (talk) 17:34, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I think that's going above and beyond what's necessary and I am tempted to put it back...--ukexpat (talk) 17:40, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I understand, but the consensus of the NRHP project in such cases has usually been to respect the owner's wishes. In reviewing the article history, an image was removed at the owner's request in 2010: had I known about that and that the owner was sensitive about that I wouldn't have taken the image in the first place, as it's really more important to maintain goodwill than to retain an image in an article just to make a point about publicly-accessible views. New Wikipedia articles

Is there a forum or a page somewhere in Wikipedia in which a new article may be proposed and (for lack of a better word) approved before it is written? Or does an editor have to go through the (sometimes laborious and time-consuming) process of creating the article first and then seeing if it is deleted (as being not notable and, thus, not worthy of an article)? The former seems more proactive, the latter reactive. The latter also seems like a waste of everyone's time, if the article would never get "approved" in the first place. So, what is the process and procedure here? Thanks. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 17:49, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It would be hard to judge notability without seeing some context and the proposed sources in support, which is part of the reason why WP:AFC exists. WP:RA also exists but doesn't do quite what you are looking for.--ukexpat (talk) 17:57, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You could create a userspace page in which you put a very short summery of the proposed article and links to some sources. Then you could ask an experienced editor to review it for notability and appropriateness. What is the subject you have in mind? DES (talk) 18:05, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

    With respect to which see #Appropriate content above.--ukexpat (talk) 18:54, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) Ah that would fall under WP:N/CA where the guideline page says, in part: "Articles about criminal acts,[5] particularly those that fall within the category of "breaking news", are frequently the subject of deletion discussions. As with other events, media coverage can confer notability on a high-profile criminal act, provided such coverage meets the above guidelines and those regarding reliable sources." From the section above, I gather that there are multiple news stories about this event, so sourcing will not be a problem. However note also that coverage should not be a brief "flash in the pan", but have lasting effects. See WP:LASTING (another section of WP:N). Note also WP:PERSISTENCE (yet another section) where it says that "... a burst or spike of news reports does not automatically make an incident notable. Events that are only covered in sources published during or immediately after an event, without further analysis or discussion, are likely not suitable for an encyclopedia article.". Please consider these carefully before going ahead with such an article, Joseph A. Spadaro. DES (talk) 18:56, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
