Is this our Bunga Jelitha?

Indonesian model and pageant winner Bunga Jelitha Ibrani appearing for Face Klub Super Rejuve in 2019.

You've been editing Indonesian beauty pageant winners recently, so I hope you can help here. Is the person in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aL7ErD36c7g our Bunga Jelitha? She seems to look slightly different, but the video gives her name, and maybe it's the few years since the contest. Or maybe it's just another Indonesian person with a common name. I don't understand Indonesian, so can't tell - maybe you could watch the video and see whether it says "this is the beauty pageant winner Bunga Jelitha" or not? Because it's a Creative Commons Attribution labeled video, so if it is her, we could take a screenshot and add it to our article, which needs a photo. Thank you! --GRuban (talk) 16:43, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi GRuban you're welcome! On that video you mentioned above, Yes it's Bunga Jelitha on that video last year, as she's taking part as an beauty ambassador for The Face Club Indonesia. Thank you! --I Nyoman Gede Anila (talk) 13:13, 7 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

One more! Intan Aletrino?

Crowning of Puteri Indonesia Bangka Belitung in 2016.
Intan Aletrino, Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2016, at the Puteri Indonesia contest in Bangka Belitung.

You were so helpful above, so I hope I can ask you for something more complicated. commons:Commons:Copyright_rules_by_territory/Indonesia#Not_protected says:

"According to Article 43, Acts that are not considered as Copyright infringements include: ... Any Publication, Distribution, Communication, and/or Reproduction executed by or on behalf of the government, unless stated to be protected by laws and regulations, a statement to such Works, or when Publication, Distribution, Communication, and/or Reproduction to such Works are made. ... These works may be uploaded to Commons and tagged with {{PD-IDGov}}."

I found this page: http://portal.bangkabaratkab.go.id/content/penyematan-mahkota-puteri-indonesia-kepulauan-bangka-belitung-2016 which looks like a government page, and has photos, including Image 1, which is very high resolution and could be cropped for a pretty good picture of Intan Aletrino, Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2016. But, I don't understand Indonesian language or law well enough to check that:

  1. this is an Indonesian government page for the purposes of {{PD-IDGov}}. For example, I know that in the United States, where I'm from, works by the Federal Government are in the public domain, but works by State government or City or Town or County governments are not, there is a clear difference. In Indonesia, are they all the same thing, or are they separate?
  2. this photo was photographed by the government. It does say "Sumber: INFOKOM", which Bing Translate tells me means "Source: INFOKOM" - is INFOKOM an Indonesian news agency or newspaper that would mean this isn't a government source?

Would you be able to help? --GRuban (talk) 16:41, 14 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi GRuban It's nice to see you again here. I would like to tell you in details..

  1. I do read this commons:Commons:Copyright_rules_by_territory/Indonesia#Not_protected and YES this website is a website under control by the province of Bangka Belitung government, precisely West Bangka Regency (Kabupaten means Regency), and the images and article texts on that website was written and captured by the INFOKOM or KOMINFO.
  2. INFOKOM or KOMINFO in Indonesia which means "Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika" or vice versa (in english: Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Indonesia)) a Governmental Ministry that is responsible for communication and information affairs, especially every information, publication, distribution and docummentation (about Indonesian politics, Social, Economics, Culture and etc) that was publicised on governmental purposes (published on City, Regency, Province and Presidential website or even distribute on any kind of governmental publication media) it's all under controlled by INFOKOM or KOMINFO, here in Indonesia. To prevent HOAX and false information spreads on the society. They also have a official website here.

I hope my information is sufficient to inform you on this topic. If you need further assistance, please contact me here! I will reply as soon as possible! ---I Nyoman Gede Anila (talk) 00:38, 15 August 2020

Thanks! Uploading based on that. I put the image to a few articles, but unfortunately, it came out grainy. Better than no image, but not great. Maybe I cropped it badly or color-edited it badly or something? If you want, you can try to make a better version from the original on that website. --GRuban (talk) 20:04, 14 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

And a third! Elfin Pertiwi Rappa

http://kiprah.pu.go.id/media/65/optimize.pdf, page 80, has an excellent photo of Elfin Pertiwi Rappa. http://kiprah.pu.go.id is a magazine printed by the Center for Public Communication, Ministry of Public Housing, Indonesia (and not the same as the Kiprah magazine at https://kiprah.co.id/). So I'm guessing it's covered by https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Template:PD-IDGov. However, the article says "TEKS | FOTO ENDAH". What is ENDAH? Is it another Indonesian government agency acronym? Is it a person's name? Is it a non-government company or organization? I see it other places in the same magazine, so I'm hoping it's another government agency or just an employee of Kiprah PU. But if it's a private company, then this might not be a government work. Can you help?

Side note, I see you got some images deleted on Commons - if you point me to where you found the originals, I might be able to help. Or might not; copyright is hard at times. --GRuban (talk) 17:05, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

--- Hi GRuban Thanks for approaching me again here! On that website link you mentioned above (http://kiprah.pu.go.id/media/65/optimize.pdf), Yes it's an government website (domain "go.id" means "government.id" as you can check here in wikipedia article >> .id#Domain_names), For make it more details, you can check the Kiprah government magazine profile >> About Us on the third paragraph first sentence, its said "KIPRAH dikelola dan diterbitkan oleh Pusat Komunikasi Publik, Kementerian PU dan Perumahan Rakyat. " means "KIPRAH is managed and published by the Center for Public Communication, Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing" in english. On that article also mentioned some name which is Endah; the admin name, means the image is taken by her, who's working for the government magazine "Kiprah" or "kiprah.pu.go.id".

While https://kiprah.co.id/ is an Non-government magazine, it's a local magazine in Lampung province owned by private company, you can read their company profile HERE. Where on the second paragraph first sentence, they said it's owned by the private company named "PT Kiprah Nyata Jaya" based in Bandar Lampung.

For your side note, I know that some of the images that was uploaded before was deleted on commons in sudden, but I tried to re-upload some images again. But needs some verification from administrator to approve the licensing:

I would like to uploads more image in the near future, especially the one that originally uploaded on Government sites or YouTube under a CC license. Thank you so much for your concern GRuban, you help me a lot! --I Nyoman Gede Anila (talk) 21:58, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I'm not an administrator, but I am a License Reviewer, so I will look at those images. On a related note, could you look at https://ttg.lipi.go.id/teknologitepatguna/modul/pdf_epaper/inovasi012006.pdf? I think it's another government magazine, and on page 21 it has a photo of Melanie Putria Dewita Sari that we could use if both those things are correct. It seems to be marked "Lucky" at the bottom again, an employee name? --GRuban (talk) 15:22, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ah I see, Thanks a lot for your license reviews above! https://ttg.lipi.go.id/teknologitepatguna/modul/pdf_epaper/inovasi012006.pdf? is confirm a government website focused on Research datas, it was controlled by LIPI (Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia) Indonesian Institute of Sciences owned by the government. Lucky is the guy who's taking the documentation, same as Endah on the Kiprah magazine.

@GRuban Side note for Miss and Mister Supranational page, I'm just done some little edits on it. I will definitely trying to develop more in the future--I Nyoman Gede Anila (talk) 22:33, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I saw that; to be honest, I'm not sure I like moving the notes to small print at the bottom. I wasn't even sure about having the table at all. --GRuban (talk) 16:48, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@GRuban So do you have any plan/how to develop the content of this page? any idea? should I move it back the notes in the table? or revert my edits?(talk) 00:01, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

We can discuss it on the article talk page with User:Berchanhimez who is the one who convinced me to put the text in a table. I would prefer the notes not be in small print in the bottom, but I won't fight to the death over it. Maybe he will agree with you that it should be there, in which case we can leave it at the bottom, or maybe he will have even a better idea. --GRuban (talk) 23:10, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
GRuban, I took a look and did... well probably too dang much. The changes I made are in the following diffs [1] and [2] - please feel free to revert some of the changes, or if you can't figure out how just undo the whole thing and/or ask me for help and I'd be happy to help. -bɜ:ʳkənhɪmez (User/say hi!) 06:02, 30 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yerk. The notes text didn't get any bigger, but the images did? I think the gallery of images became too big. I still would like the notes in normal print; do you disagree, and like them small? I feel stronger that the images shouldn't be this large, especially the one of Srinidhi Shetty, which is noticeably larger than the others; and I like the distinction between the winners gallery and the finals image. --GRuban (talk) 11:48, 30 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@ Hi GRuban After your last edits, I think over all the page looks better, quite informative and presentable enough for the readers. But I do suggest to add some information especially on the National franchises part, seems need to add some content on it.(talk) 00:55, 31 August 2020 (UTC) @GRuban Im just creating this template so each national franchise can be connected on table. (talk) 01:53, 31 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! That's an impressive amount of work. I didn't do it because I wasn't able to find enough information about it. For example, just clicking on a random entry, Sierra Leone, I find that contest sent a competitor in 2017. Was this the only time, or were there others? It's also not cited. Most franchises were like that, just a bit of information, so I wrote a section giving examples of some representative ones, enough to show that it's a wide range, where some franchises send winners, others second or third place winners, or even other methods, and didn't dig further. Thanks for your work, though if you could cite everything (not in the template you made, but in the articles that provide the backing for the template) that would be best. --GRuban (talk) 12:25, 31 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Shawntheshipper You're being annoying by reverting and deleting legitimate references there and you're currently on edit warring with so many users. As you did here, you're reverting everyone edits HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE and many more... Stop reverting everyone's edit, you're being non-sense and content removal by deleting reliable sources is inappropriate Arabiya Sundall page isn't even your own page, everyone has the right to edits but yours are too disruptive and changing newly updated legitimate sources with an small local TV channel blog isn't accepted, even CNA article aren't legitimate sources sometimes you should also check the actual date released of the news.180.247.192.254 (talk) 14:15, 9 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

**socked puppet account: Shawntheshipper also involved in socked puppet account with Ianpaulguerrero based on your edit comment on Rabiya Sundall Mateo this 2 user are identical and came from the same IP Address that suspected with vandalism acts on Rabiya Sundall Mateo history page. HERE & HERE their edits comment using CAPSLOCK which is very inappropriate and impolite behavior, also using identical attacking words. Which came from the same IP Address, are totally suspicious.
