Aldersyde is a hamlet in Alberta, Canada within the Municipal District of Foothills No. 31.[2] Located between Highway 2 and Highway 2A south of Highway 7, the hamlet is approximately 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) southeast of Okotoks, 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) north of High River and 25 kilometres (16 mi) south of Calgary. A Canadian Pacific Railway line runs through the hamlet.

The name "Aldersyde" was coined by a first settler for its Scottish sound, although apparently there is no place in Scotland with the same name.[3]
