The Miss Trinidad & Tobago Pageant also known currently as Miss Oneness Trinidad & Tobago is a beauty pageant has been held annually since 1954. The contest is meant to select a suitable delegate from the twin island republic, to compete in the Miss World pageant.Giselle Jeanne-Marie Laronde became the first woman from Trinidad and Tobago to be victorious in the Miss World pageant, aged 23, on 13 November 1986, in London, England.
History
Miss Trinidad & Tobago registered trademark started in 1954 exclusive for Miss World. The first Miss Trinidad and Tobago contest started in 1954 where the eventual winner, Seeta Indranie Mahabir represented the British Commonwealth country at the fourth edition of the contest.
Description
ONENESS Entertainment Trinidad and Tobago is the sister company of ONENESS Entertainment founded in 2005 by Gregory Lewin, who is also the Producer of the Miss ONENESS Beauty Pageant in Nicaragua. ONENESS Entertainment Trinidad & Tobago is a registered company incorporated in 2011 in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, and is independently operated by its President and its Board of Directors. Vanessa Manoo is the President/CEO.
In 2014, the President of Oneness Entertainment Trinidad and Tobago, and Executive Pageant Producer of the Miss Oneness Trinidad and Tobago Beauty Pageant, Vanessa Manoo, was awarded the prestigious Miss World franchise. ONENESS Entertainment Trinidad & Tobago was created in 2011 to forge and foster a greater pageantry relationship between Trinidad and Tobago and Nicaragua, to promote the beauty, culture and tourism of both these nations through beauty and philanthropy.
