Only substantive coverage from a RS is from Barbarians at the Gate: The Fall of RJR Nabisco. Other RS coverage is fleeting and thus does not establish notability. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 03:16, 18 May 2018 (UTC)

- Keep: Historically notable figure in Cincinnati and Ohio. There is a lot of historical information about the man and likely much more can be found. In just a short time I found historical information: Cincinnati.com, Cincinnatimagazine.com, Beardbarons.com, 1899 auction of items belonging to Henry Probasco, and one from the University of Cincinnati library. The Newberry Library in Cincinnati houses a large collection of Arabic and Turkish Manuscripts that came from the collections belonging to Henry Probasco. Otr500 (talk) 07:35, 25 May 2018 (UTC)

Does not meet WP:NMUSIC. Article asserts no claims of notability and while the guideline suggests it be a "subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works", all I can really see/find is a short section referenced from Impose (magazine) in a past revision. (The page was created by User:Closetgodrecords who was blocked minutes later for a clear violation of WP:ORGNAME.) Vanstrat ((🗼)) 07:03, 18 May 2018 (UTC)

Does not seem to meet WP:BASIC or WP:ANYBIO. Claim to notability seems to be WP:CREATIVE but no indication that he played a major role in any production cited. Actual article is heavily promotional. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 03:05, 18 May 2018 (UTC)

- He's been a supervising producer, worked on the Chucky franchise, won a Canadian award for his film with Pedro Aldomovar, co-produced with Lions Gate Entertainment, worked with Hollywood stars, etc. For Canada, that's notable. Abonzz (talk) 22:33, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
- I don't doubt any of what you write. However the notability guidelines, WP:CREATIVE don't make any sort country based consideration (vs some of the NSPORT guidelines which treat some things differently from different countries). That's why I wrote "he played a major role" since that's the standard the criteria is aiming for. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 00:23, 19 May 2018 (UTC)
- (talk) Barkeep49 For producing the Chucky franchise, couldn't he fall under the following notability criteria"The person has created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work." There are about seven films in the franchise. Thanks! Abonzz (talk) 13:02, 19 May 2018 (UTC)

- Keep (talk) He is notable in Canada for having won a local award and having produced notable films. Also his work on the Chucky movie franchise fits the notability criteria for co-creating a collective body of work. Abonzz (talk) 13:51, 26 May 2018 (UTC)
- Keep He's notable not only in Canada but internationally for his work with US studios such as Lions Gate and Universal. His film "My Life Without Me" did not only get Canadian awards (Leo and Genie) but was also nominated for a number of Goya awards and won some (see the Wikipedia page). As well, it was in official competition at the Berlin Film festival. This film was co-produced by his company (Milestone) and Almodovar's (el Deseo). As the producer on a number of successful independent and studio films including Cult of Chucky, he definitely played a "major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work." A "producer" oversees the entire production, including creative and financial. KeepNot only did he produce one of the most successful and highly rated chapters of the Chucky franchise, he's also been tapped by Universal to produce the latest movie in their Doom franchise (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0310452/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1). - Comment: there's quite a few limited release live albums by Coil that could be AfD candidates... Live One, Live Two, Live Four, Megalithomania!, ANS, and the box set that contains all of them, The Key to Joy Is Disobedience, could all conceivably be bundled together for AfD, rather than just proposing one album in the series. I think all of them should be redirected to Coil (band). Richard3120 (talk) 23:19, 10 May 2018 (UTC)

- Redirect. Even if the notability guideline for recordings can not be met - and I can't find sufficient sources - the article title is a perfectly valid search term, and there is no need for deletion. The policy-based solution per WP:ATD-R is to redirect to the artist article Coil (band) as a categorized
{{R from album}}
and{{R with possibilities}}
. (The script Sagittarius+ can be useful.) Redirecting per ATD-R after a proper WP:BEFORE can always be tried before nominating for deletion. Sam Sailor 13:03, 23 May 2018 (UTC)

He was DVC of a University not approved to run graduate studies according to the NUC. This BLP was created by a user [2] who is known for creating hoax articles. While the subject of this article is real but xe seems not notable enough to warrant a standalone entry yet. Director of a museum is not something that would be expected to have an article on English Wikipedia. This article claims the subject has written some books but I don't see any notable (at least one of the book has a WP entry which is created by the same user) However author are not given an automatic free pass over WP:BIO just because they exist — their ability to qualify for Wikipedia articles is determined by criteria at WP:AUTHOR which fails in this case. Also the creator of this page is socking here Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/UA85. --Saqib (talk) 19:20, 17 May 2018 (UTC)

This BLP was nom for deletion last year but somehow kept so here I re-nom it for deletion. Journalists are not given an automatic free pass over WP:BIO just because they exist — their ability to qualify for Wikipedia articles is determined by criteria at WP:JOURNALIST which the subject clearly fails. Apparently the BLP is being written by the subject herself Sadiahaidari. Search doesn't produce any coverage and substantial information in the independent RS about the person either so fails to meet basic GNG. Saqib (talk) 15:43, 11 May 2018 (UTC)

- I didn't say she was the first female journalist in Pakistan. That was someone else. I said "She is an award-winning journalist and was the first female journalist for two major news organizations in Pakistan (Associated Press of Pakistan and Geo News)." I didn't say that is why she qualifies; I said she qualifies because her article satisfies WP:GNG for significant discussion in secondary sources. WP:N states "If a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list." I believe that has been satified here.[3][4][5] Lonehexagon (talk) 19:41, 27 May 2018 (UTC)
- OK and I believe she does not meet GNG because I don't think the coverage is significant as GNG requires. Two of the sources (WAN-IFRA and The Media Line) are of dubious quality so I would not even consider them to establish the WP:N. The standard set for sources to support claims within an article is a lower standard than that for sources to establish WP:N. My comments are concerned with sources used to establish notability. And I don't think the provided sources meet the criteria for establishing notability. --Saqib (talk) 21:24, 27 May 2018 (UTC)

- Keep Her documentaries have received international acclaim, especially her most recent one Amoli. If the article can't be kept in its current form, it shouldn't be deleted. It should at least be turned into an article about Amoli, which easily has enough coverage to pass WP:GNG. Lonehexagon (talk) 20:52, 27 May 2018 (UTC)

- Keep Tentatively. Seems kind of technical, and useful as a reference (e.g. for the inbound links from a few biographical articles), and not promotional. To me it seems reasonable for this to be split out of the too-long Notary public article. Note there is a lot of coverage about notaries in Wikipedia, I am surprised to see articles split out for Notary public (Florida), etc. I agree that the amount of coverage included is marginal, but it would be okay to include in the Notary public article, and then we have no basis to disallow it being split out. Perhaps it could be expanded/renamed to cover all notary public associations, heading off creation of articles. --Doncram (talk) 00:36, 6 June 2018 (UTC)

This article about a non-notable concept is part essay, part advocacy. Neither of the references mention this by name, and the external links are either blogs, dead links, or primary sources. Even if this were notable, which it isn't, it would still qualify for WP:TNT. Reyk YO! 11:19, 18 May 2018 (UTC)

An article on a franchising company, created by an acknowledged paid editor who created it as a draft but then moved it to main space without WP:AFC review. The references are mainly routine coverage on franchising sites. The company has also won "Waterproofing and Foundation Repair" awards in their area but these are not inherently notable. My searches are finding no reliable source coverage to indicate more than a firm going about its business; fails WP:CORPDEPTH. AllyD (talk) 06:56, 18 May 2018 (UTC)

- Noting that the article creator also created redirects for names associated with the company, I have added these to the "find sources" above. AllyD (talk) 07:02, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
- Re: Failing "WP:CORPDEPTH" - the company is definitely more notable in the Atlantic Canada region than it is Canada-wide (it has been covered in regional/local news there a number of times, but tracking these sources down can be a challenge). That said, your concern given the sources included on the current version of the page seems reasonable. I'll see what I can do to remedy this by tracking down more (independent) sources that ideally also prove notability. Astro Reeves (talk) 16:15, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
- Delete Agree with nom, zero indications of notability, entirely promotional, fails WP:SPIP. A search for sources doesn't turn up anything that meets the criteria for establishing notability. Topic fails GNG and WP:NCORP. HighKing++ 19:39, 23 May 2018 (UTC)

There's currently a dispute whether Vitals is a website or a company. Whatever it is, it doesn't seem to be notable enough to be the subject of an encyclopedia article. There's next to no media coverage beyond a few passing mentions, often as one in a list of doctor review sites. There's nothing better on the "In the news" page on vitals.com, and the article's current sources are even worse. Huon (talk) 00:55, 19 May 2018 (UTC)

This company has had more media attention than most. It was the subject of an NBC Nightly News segment and an NPR Planet Money podcast. https://www.nbcnews.com/nightly-news/video/employers-offer-cash-incentives-to-encourage-healthcare-shopping-763391043752 http://snip.ly/HDwp?utm_source=StartUp+Health+Insider&utm_campaign=f055468f8c-StartUp_Health_Weekly_News_10-14-2015&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_250bac26a5-f055468f8c-312240461&mc_cid=f055468f8c&mc_eid=a7bea70577#http://www.npr.org/sections/money/2015/10/02/445371930/episode-655-pay-patients-save-money
