Suzhou Zhongnan Center (Chinese: 苏州中南中心) is a supertall skyscraper under construction in Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP), Suzhou, Jiangsu, China. The original building's design called for a height of 729 metres (2,391.7 ft)[2] Suzhou Center Plaza is located in the Central Business District of Suzhou, to the west of Jinji Lake. In late 2019, it was announced that the Suzhou Zhongnan Center's megatall design would be replaced with a 499.2-metre (1,638 ft) tall building in compliance with China's ban on buildings taller than 500 metres (1,600 ft). Construction started in early 2020 and is currently the tallest building under construction in China.
