Nachusa Township is located in Lee County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, its population was 493 and it contained 204 housing units.[2] Nachusa Township was formed from China Township on February 8, 1872.

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 28.94 square miles (75.0 km2), of which 28.93 square miles (74.9 km2) (or 99.97%) is land and 0.01 square miles (0.026 km2) (or 0.03%) is water.[2]
