If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted.
If you're still entirely confused, or would like to get a better grasp of your wikipedia skills, and you have an IRC client (or don't mind getting one), check out the Bootcamp. It's not what it sounds like, but it is fun and can help you with your editing skills.

Hi - I'm a little curious about your additions to List of albums which do not contain their title track. I can't find any evidence that Smashing Pumpkins ever sang songs called "Adore", "Gish", "Machina/The Machines of God", or "Machina II/The Friends and Enemies of Modern Music". The page makes it clear that it is for albums with titles that are the same as tracks which have been performed by artists, but which don't appear on the albums. If I'm wrong about those three tracks, fine, but if they don't exist, the albums shouldn't be there. Grutness...wha?00:50, 1 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello WikiProject Alternative music member. WikiProject Alternative music, in my eyes, has proved to be successful "improving the encyclopaedic coverage of articles relating to alternative rock", and improving their quality as well. One specific example I have witnessed is The Smashing Pumpkins article. The page has gone from a mediocre work, to GA status, to FA nomination. Only appropriate, as the Pumpkins are undeniably one of the most influential alternative rock bands on the 1990's and beyond.
This is the stuff I wish to achieve with the somewhat recently ressurected WikiProject Rock music. I hope to also attract attention to rock music articles of all sorts, and hopefully change some to GA or FA status.
