  45. BrillLyle (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I really enjoy adding sourced biographical information to undersourced pages and often find myself using FamilySearch (the free LDS database); while this database is good I know that the FindMyPast database would provide a much broader and deeper amount of information. I am a long-time Jewish genealogist and am interested in focusing on women subjects of note -- hopefully in a way that could verify and contextualize their contributions to culture, arts, politics, etc. I believe that FindMyPast would build on these elements (genealogy and women of note) and I could focus my Wikipedia edits better with such a great resource. I am also a librarian so I would like to see if there is a way to incorporate VIAF / Authority Control with FindMyPast somehow. New page creation is only a small fraction of the editing I have done. I was a professional word processor for over 15 years so I think my strength lies in making formatting consistent and cleaning up citations, but I would also like to increase my content creation. I have been frustrated in doing this by my lack of access to databases behind firewalls. I am a relatively new editor, and I tend to focus on editing subjects I am interested in. I am fascinated by Wikidata, which I just discovered, and think the Wikimedia Commons is great. I have kept a personal travel blog that I have populated with photos that are also on flickr with a 2.0 creative commons license (the license a direct result of wanting to make my public photos easily available to wikipedia users). Hope I qualify. Thanks so much. Erika BrillLyle (talk) 04:11, 20 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  53. AnemoneProjectors (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I have over 136,000 edits and have been contributing since 2006. I edit a fair number of biographies, mostly actors or other entertainers, and I feel this would be of great benefit. I previously applied on 4 September 2014 but was my request was denied because since applying, I took a break from Wikipedia and was told to reapply when I had returned. Thank you. –anemoneprojectors11:44, 19 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  54. Cassianto (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) -- Future FA's planned with no access to my previous subscriptions. My last subscription to Ancestry.com and BNA produced 4 featured articles, but owing to real life, I had to let them lapse. I have this, that and the other planned for future projects and access to this site would be invaluable. CassiantoTalk 17:03, 21 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  55. Xb2u7Zjzc32 (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) New access. I do a lot of reference verifying and I have encountered a lack of published that are not behind a paywall, leaving articles unverified.~~ Xb2u7Zjzc32 (talk) 09:04, 28 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  56. pbradbury (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) It would be great to have access, I am a member of both football and heraldry wikipedia projects and edit bios of football players as well as researching genealogy for coats of arms, I have attempted one GA so far and I am looking to improve several articles. I believe this would be an invaluable resource. Paul  Bradbury 14:45, 7 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  57. GaryColemanFan (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) 8 years and 20,000 edits. This would help with hard-to-find biographical details on humanities and sports articles. GaryColemanFan (talk) 02:30, 20 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  58. Chuangzu (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I have been active editing on Wikipedia since 2006, my main area is Chinese Martial Arts and Taoism, in particular the history of the Lee style T'ai Chi and the author Chee Soo, I am also interested in the history of West Penwith in Cornwall, United Kingdom, where I live miles from the nearest University or Library. I would like access to the Find My past resource to research and add to the biographical pages on Chee Soo and Chan Kam Lee.Chuangzu (talk) 17:36, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  59. Tanet (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) This would be very helpful to contribute with biographical details that I usually can't find on traditional media. --Kiwi (talk) 23:02, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  60. Emperor (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) An editor since 2003 with 50,000+ edits and an admin of long-standing, mainly focused on British comics and their creators - starting and contributing heavily to dozens and having edited most of them (although I also do bios of people involved in film, books and the paranormal, especially where there is crossover with comics). 61. ErrantX (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I write a lot of war history articles, including biographies. In particular this would be extremely useful for tracking down a particularly awkward one (Victor_Jones_(British_Army_officer)) and some of his even lesser known peers. --Errant (chat!) 20:04, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  62. OscarLake (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) My edits are primarily focused on biographies for classic Hollywood actors. What I've noticed is that many Americans in the film industry (Cary Grant, Vivien Leigh, Ray Milland, etc.) hailed from United Kingdom and I feel that I would be able to improve lots of articles if I had access to FindMyPast. Archived old application renewals

[edit]
  1. Sionk (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I believe my 1 year FMP account is reaching its expiry. The British Newspaper Archive at FMP has been invaluable over the last 12 months, in particular I've used it as the basis for a number of articles about prominent buildings and architects. Recent examples include Angel Hotel, Cardiff, Royal Hotel, Cardiff and Prince of Wales Theatre, Cardiff. I'd welcome the chance to continue using the resource. Sionk (talk) 14:11, 15 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Sionk: Approved I'm not sure if this had been done already or not, butI'm processing this renewal. Your account should be available shortly. Cheers, TLSuda (talk) 20:30, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Edwardx (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I forgot to renew my FMP account in time. I'm active in business and other bios, and FMP is very useful especially in tracing buisness dynasty connections. Have done 35,000 edits and 1600 new article creations. I also do training for Wikimedia UK. Edwardx (talk) 10:36, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Edwardx: Approved I'm processing this as a renewal. Your account should be available shortly. Cheers, TLSuda (talk) 20:29, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
