Halwara Air Force Station is an Indian Air Force base near Halwara town in Punjab, India.

Built and incepted in 1950, Air Force Station Halwara was one of the first air bases to be built after India's independence.

Currently units at the station are under No. 34 Wing IAF, Western Air Command. No. 22 Squadron IAF operates the Mikoyan MiG-27. Scramble.nl also reports that No. 31 Squadron IAF may operate Sukhoi Su-30MKIs from the base as well, but this is subject to confirmation.[1]

Halwara airforce station is just north of Halwara town and 27 km southwest of Ludhiana city in Punjab, India. Ludhiana is the nearest large city and the railhaead for reaching Halwara by long distance trains.
