Template:Infobox aviation Kenya Airways was established by the Government of Kenya on 22 January 1977, following the collapse of the East African Union and the consequent folding of East African Airways.[1] It first flew on 4 February 1977 servicing the London–Nairobi route, using a Boeing 707-321 leased from British Midland Airways.[1][2] A year later, the airline's network comprised five domestic and 16 international destinations.[3]
List
Following the addition of Jeddah to the destination network in October 2011 , the carrier serves 56 cities in Asia, Africa and Europe.[4] Following is a list of these destinations, including the city and country name, the name of the airport served, and the associated codes given by the International Air Transport Association (IATA airport code) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO airport code). Destinations previously served by the airline are also listed.
