Bandar Baru Bangi (literally translated from Malay to English as the New Bangi Town) is a township - recently crowned as the Knowledge City - situated in the district of Hulu Langat, in Selangor, Malaysia, and named after the small town of Bangi situated further south. It is located exactly in between the cities of Kajang and Putrajaya (formerly Prang Besar) and is about 25 km away from the capital city, Kuala Lumpur; as well as the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
