The Service for Investigations and Documentation (Serbian: Služba za Istrage i Dokumentaciju; SID) was the foreign intelligence agency of Serbia that deals with intelligence gathering and other security activities relating to terrorism.
It was under authority of Foreign Ministry with headquarters in Belgrade, Serbia. On 11th December 2007 has adopted new Law on security and intelligence services of Republic of Serbia, where are determined three security and intelligence agencies of the Republic. The three existing are: BIA (Security Information Agency), VOA (Military Intelligence Agency) and VBA (Military Security Agency).
