Voltas is India's largest air conditioning company, and one of the world's premier engineering solutions providers and project specialists. Founded in India in 1954, Voltas Limited offers engineering solutions for a wide spectrum of industries in areas such as heating, ventilation and air conditioning, refrigeration, electro-mechanical projects, textile machinery, mining and construction equipment, water management & treatment, cold chain solutions, building management systems, and indoor air quality.

History
The Company was Incorporated on the 6 of September, 1954 in Mumbai, India. The origin of the name Voltas comes from a combination of Volkart, Swiss brothers who partly founded the company and Tatas (VOL-TAS).
In 1978, Voltas established its first presence in the Middle East.
Cold Storage and Industrial Refrigeration Solutions
Voltas specializes in Ammonia based refrigeration solutions for temperatures as low as -80 Deg C for industries like Dairies, Logistics and Warehouses, Refineries, Pharmaceuticals, etc.
