La Perla Tapatía Supermarkets is a family-owned grocery store chain that opened its first store in Patterson, California in 1980.[1] It is now headquartered in Turlock, California. The chain currently has six stores in Modesto, Turlock, Riverbank, Patterson, and Hughson.[2]
As founders, the Villa family has accomplish to revive the traditional Mexican market in Stanislaus County, California; and to bring genuine Mexican goods from various regions of Mexico.[1]
