Santhosh Echikkanam (Malayalam: സന്തോഷ് ഏച്ചിക്കാനം) is a South Indian, contemporary short story writer from Kerala. He is one of the newcomers in Malayalam literature. He was born in Kasargode district in Kerala. Santhosh was engaged with politics during his college days. He never came first in the college story-writing competitions, but he persisted with his literary pursuits and later achieved success, mostly for his short stories. His stories are down to earth and speak about the common people.

Santhosh received the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for his short story Komala (2008). [1][2]
