FYI. I wouldn't bother engaging with that user. Is not here to improve the project. Apart from this more recent proposal (that own nonsense Tweets should be reflected in Wikipedia), user has previously relied on his own Tweets to declare himself a "king", denied that homosexuality exists (and therefore shouldn't be covered in an article), and other forms of silliness. Dash spacing on Template:Dart Score

Hi there. Reading through the MOS on dashes, I can't see where spacing is addressed for numbers that aren't ranges. The template was created to match previously in place dashed scores (see 2021 PDC Pro Tour) for example. I don't care either way (Although I visually prefer the dashes), but before doing a crusade through the dozens of pages to fix this spacing, I'd want to see the MOS suggestion. Thanks for any help. Thanks for checking in. I don't know from microformats, but that class was already in use in the template/module. I just changed it so that the class used in the sub-rows matched the class used in the rowspan row and in the CSS style page. If a different class entirely should be used in all three places, that is fine with me. Did you see any sourcing/references on previous medals from any championships of any athletes pages? If yes, tell me where, id like to see it, I'm contributing for years and its the first time anyone saying that you need to source an medal update for any major championship. So what are you talking about? Im tired of users like you who are doing zeal and have no idea what are they talking about. I'm 110% about sourcing and refering anything for copyright/informations issues but its has been to be standardized. Claims in articles, especially those about living people, need to be sourced. Claims in infoboxes do not need to be sourced if the information appears in the body of the article and is sourced (see WP:INFOBOXREF). For examples of how to source athletes' BLP claims properly, see Pat Hawkins (hurdler) or Nell Jackson. For an article that shows medals in an infobox and explains those claims in the body of the article, with sources supporting those claims, see Karen Hawkins (athlete). Infobox/linking question

In Song dynasty, |s2= is a auto-linked field currently set to a disambiguated title. I seem to recall there is some trick to get this to display w/o the disambiguator but I can't remember it. A normal piped link displays a blue-link w/o the disambiguator but with visible square brackets.... MB 06:30, 14 February 2022 (UTC)

Shooting record templates

Following Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2022 February 7#Template:Shooting WR 10RT20 Junior Women Individual and related shooting record templates I was wondering what to do with the rest. I'm assuming that there isn't an automatic way of substituting and, on that basis and the precedent there, I'd be happy to do the work and then nominate them as unused. If you do a mass nomination with a valid rationale and the discussion is closed as "subst and delete", the templates will be substed as needed. You do not have to worry about it. Template question

I found that in Laszló Lovassy, which uses {{Campaignbox Hungarian Revolution of 1848}}, the template was not transcluded but copied in its entirety into the article (twice actually). I was a little confused at first because the VTE links took you to the actual template. Just wondering if you have seen this before. If it is so unusual, its probably not worth worrying about. I don't know if there is any simple way to detect such clones that won't reflect updates to the actual template. MB 03:02, 21 February 2022 (UTC)

It looks like someone substed or pasted a local copy of the campaignbox into the article. And yes, that's how the VTE links work; they take you to the template page that matches |name=, even if that parameter exists in a page other than the target template, like in an article or a different template. Database replicas access

Hello. This is perhaps a dumb question, but do you have Wikimedia Toolserver/Tool Labs/Toolforge/Cloud shell access? If not, would it make sense to get you a shell account there so you can directly access the database replicas? I guess with tools such as Quarry it's a little less necessary these days but using a shell account can be an awfully convenient way to run some queries and scripts. I don't have any of those things, but I'd like to learn about them as long as I won't break anything. I'm not afraid of shell accounts, and I've learned enough wikicode to be dangerous (and helpful). Sweet. It looks like the process is pretty straightforward: wikitech:Portal:Toolforge/Quickstart. I'm available on IRC and elsewhere to help out if needed, whatever you're comfortable with. Once you have a Toolforge account, we can get you added to the "dbreps" shared account at least. Querying SQL directly is pretty easy, as is running basic scripts.

Depending on what you want to do, we can also get you set up with a personal "shared" account. There are some silly restrictions these days about personal non-shared accounts, namely that you can't run automated processes under them, so I have an "mzmcbride" shared account where I'm the only member and it runs some random processes such as the edit count report. Why are you restoring email addresses in citation templates?

Refill and Reflinks sometimes capture email addresses and put them in the authorship lines of these templates. The IPs taking them out are correct. Why are you restoring them? – Muboshgu (talk) 19:02, 1 April 2022 (UTC)

This disruptive and now blocked IP replaced a bunch of e-mail addresses with |last=By and |last=-, which is invalid and much more difficult to detect than e-mail addresses. I reverted only the edits that contained these two invalid values, as far as I know. Where the editor chose to remove the address or replace it with a valid value, I left the edit intact. It took me a couple of hours to inspect and revert their many hundreds of edits; actually fixing them would have taken at least twice as long. Map to be updated

Hi Jonesey95. Thank you for your contributions to article Blue Line (Chennai Metro). This line was originally from Chennai Airport in the south side to Washermanpet in the north side but later extended on the north side to Wimco Nagar Depot further north. But the map in the article isn't updated to reflect this (currently it only shows the line up to Washermanpet). I have no idea how to do this. So just thought of bringing this to your attention. Istanbul mass transit

I hope I didn't screw up anything you were working on, but I expanded Module:Adjacent stations/Istanbul Metro and replaced calls to Module:Adjacent stations/Istanbul mass transit with the Metro module where applicable. that leaves only one place where "Istanbul mass transit" is being used. Thanks for working on those, and your idea sounds fine to me. I have been able to figure out the basics of how Module:Adjacent stations works, but the nuances are still beyond me. My goal has been to start some of them (you can see them in my recent contributions over the past week or two) and do some conversions of rail colors and one or two S-line conversions to make sure they work, so that subsequent editors have a smaller hill to climb when they want to finish the work of making the old template set obsolete.

I also don't know the best way to change article infoboxes to make them stop using templates like {{M4 style}}. The documentation doesn't help me quite enough, and it doesn't link to enough examples. If you know how to do this and can provide a couple of diffs, I am pretty good at copying an existing workflow. – Jonesey95 (talk) 00:38, 19 April 2022 (UTC)

for the styles, you do this the style is the name of the module and the style2 is the table key in the name format in the Module:Adjacent stations/Istanbul Metro. if there is only one name format, you don't need the table (see Module:Adjacent stations/Sydney Metro). you can also get more fancy and use string.format like Module:Adjacent stations/Manila LRT which also keeps the colors in sync. Problems searching for lint error patterns

When I try searching for lint error patterns using insource, I keep getting timeouts. I've read H:INSOURCE, so I know using regular expressions in insource searches are resource intensive. I've always been able get results from short patterns in the past, but now, even this (from user Mö1997's signature) is timing out:

Adjacent stations module

Hello @Jonesey95 I created a module for Rapid Metro Gurgaon in Adjacent stations. I have marked the module for speedy deletion and notified an admin. I looked at the before/after versions of some of the station articles, and they look good with the new module, so I have nominated the old templates for deletion. Module:Adjacent stations/Berlin U-Bahn

I think per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Icons it might be a good idea to keep the line name as text and use the SVG icons in the icon property (I realize this was not always done with S-line templates). Mackensen (talk) 21:53, 10 May 2022 (UTC)

KJP1: What is the harm in leaving these notifications in place? Has someone appointed you as the caretaker of RexxS's talk page? If so, I will defer to you. Otherwise, please do not remove things that I post on talk pages, per the guidelines at WP:TPO, which say that you shouldn't do what you did, and specifically: Cautiously editing or removing another editor's comments is sometimes allowed, but normally you should stop if there is any objection.. Admins processing TFDs and other such nominations often check to ensure that the creators of nominated pages were notified, and if they do not see the notices, it can mean a delayed or failed TFD, or extra work for the admin to peruse RexxS's talk page history.

Infobox soap character

Hello - I've been puzzled for a few days over the auto short description that's been added onto the template, as it's been adding the description to list articles too, eg List of Doctors characters (2022) now has the description. List articles of that nature don't need a short description and they all have {{Short description|None}} implemented at the top of their articles. I just noticed that it was yourself that added the auto description onto the template; would you be able to fix this? – DarkGlow • 16:55, 6 June 2022 (UTC)

How to wrap template around image width

I do not read ml well enough to figure out what is happening, but it looks like something is forcing everything in your infoboxes to be aligned to the left. It also looks like some data is being set to "nowrap", which makes the infoboxes very wide. It is possible that some change to site-wide CSS here at en.WP has not been copied to ml.WP, but that is just a guess. Izno might know. – Jonesey95 (talk) 06:56, 2 June 2022 (UTC)

Jacob.jose You must be an interface administrator on your project. If you are not one, you will need to request that permission. If ml.wp doesn't have interface admins, you will need to ask for help from global interface editors (and/or stewards) somewhere on meta. It is a powerful permission, so it is generally limited, and one reason why you should try to move your styles away from Common.css. Izno (talk) 22:09, 4 June 2022 (UTC)

Automated short description in NBA season infobox

Hi! I have noticed that all the NBA season articles have now the "short description" text in the beginning of the article. As I understood the automatic short description should have been generated, but instead it just has this text on top. Could you please take a look as you were the last who edited the template. All the articles for all the season have it now, like 1946–47 Boston Celtics season, 1994–95 Philadelphia 76ers season - all of them. If I misunderstood something, I'm sorry. Thank you in advance. What exactly did you do in Ukrainian law? Did you figure out what |number= is intended to correspond to in documents? Or are you referring to a bug that I obviously knew was there and was demonstrating. The example immediately above showed all parameters working. There was only one difference between the two examples: a blank parameter. I was obviously demoing a bug. I'll take your criticism on the casual language, but again, I don't think you understand the point of documenting bugs, which you have to do. Infobox settlement help

Hey Jonesey! I saw your name at the latest contributors in the aforementioned template. Can you help me solve 2 problems I'm having with it in a certain article in my homewiki? The code is the same as here, apart from the localizations.

The article. The first error is in the coordinates section. I get the coordinate name twice, once per language, not sure why. And the second error is a formatting one, easy to see in red in the area section. If you can help somehow, I'd be grateful. :) - Klein Muçi (talk) 16:15, 19 July 2022 (UTC)

It looks like the coordinates problem is coming from Moduli:ISO_3166 when it calls Moduli:Coordinates. See sq:Përdoruesi:Jonesey95/sandbox for a minimal case. Edit that page and look at "Stampa të përdorura në këtë faqe:" to see which template or module is causing the duplication. The other red error is caused by | area_blank2_km2 = Njesi administrative being in a field that expects a numerical value. – Jonesey95 (talk) 17:04, 19 July 2022 (UTC)

The second fix was easy (obviously) but I'm having difficulties with the Module related one. The main pages for that module are the same as in here as I've literally copy-pasted them there. Katrina Lombard

Bad lint fix

Darn it, I don't like it when I make mistakes at scale. I do check my edits before saving, but with a lot of font tag fixes in a single diff, my eyes can sometimes glaze over. Table alignment

I've been thinking about table alignment and it if it's needed on large tables then it can end up being a lot of code to add for each cell, such as one of the options below:

When the whole table is all aligned the same, style="text-align:center;" can be used at the top of the table. It would be nice though if we could do something similar when the alignment if different for different columns. With css such as User:WOSlinker/tables.css added via templatestyles and classes this can be done, although there are limitations when colspans are used.

Below is a short example.

Interesting. This is an FAQ about table column alignment, and it is best answered at Help:Table, where the recommended code is sorely lacking in the ability to set alignment per column. Null infobox data

Welcome back. See this infobox, where is says |power=watt, and mass and dimension have empty convert templates too. I have been seeing this for last couple of months. It's been done by my many different editors. I've left messages for a few asking them to just leave blank fields blank. Would you have any idea where this is coming from? It's coming from people using the beta Visual Editor, which obeys the programming code in the Template Data section of the documentation for {{Infobox spaceflight}}. Do a find for "power" and you will see an ill-advised "Auto value" of "watts", added there almost three years ago by AntiCompositeNumber. That auto value should be removed from the Template Data section, which, like the rest of the documentation page, is not protected. – Jonesey95 (talk) 22:27, 23 August 2022 (UTC)

Linter in FAC

I've noticed a couple of your fixed today for linter errors in FAC headings - I believe the italics point that has required changes is in a FAC pre-load thing. Is the issue in the FAC preload itself, or is my signature messing things up. If it's the former, then the FAC preload needs changed (I'm an FAC coord, which is why I find this of importance), and if it's the latter, I can just change my signature. It's not your fault, and I think I have fixed all of the affected pages (at least ones with your signature on them). It is a subtle interaction that appears only when there are italics inside other tags, all nested inside the italics of the FAC "nominator" line. I fixed the FAC preload page. It is all quite trivial, but minor misnesting errors like this can lead to page display problems when the parser stops working around invalid syntax. – Jonesey95 (talk) 16:51, 9 September 2022 (UTC)

I think because new editors can not create articles, and many seem to not know about Draft space, they start articles on Template pages or on Article Talk pages. We have a Quarry query that now reports orphaned Talk pages where editors have started articles but, as far as Template space, we rely on editors working in and familiar with that namespace to come across misplaced pages and tag them for deletion. So, thank you for doing so! I'm sure you have seem much surprising content that has been hidden away in Template space, sometimes for years, before an editor has stumbled across it. Thanks for the note. A group of us has pretty much caught up with the unused templates (no transclusions). There was a lot of accidental junk in there, which you noticed me marking for deletion last year. I am slowly working my way through the 9,000 templates at Wikipedia:Database reports/Uncategorized templates now, and there is a bunch of similar stuff, but this time with a single transclusion. For the obvious garbage, I have been substing the templates (typically in a user sandbox page) and then marking them for speedy deletion. I was working around a bug in MediaWiki. Do a Find on mw:Help:Images for "If there is a space character" to see If there is a space character between link and the equals sign, the link statement will be treated as a caption. and If there is a space character between alt and the equals sign, the alt statement will be treated as a caption. Notice that in the previous revision, your link was not working. Alt text, if it had been present, would not have worked either. Template:collapsed infobox section begin & linter errors

Please have a look at this edit I made to Philip DeFranco to fixed linter errors caused by {{collapsed infobox section begin}}. It was the only way I found to tie-in with the div tags added by the template's |div=yes parameter. Leaving out |div=yes messes up the output. Is there a cleaner solution to this problem? I am inclined to leave it as is. When fixing Linter errors, I prefer to change the formatting of the page as little as possible, lest I rekindle contentious issues about formatting that had been discussed and agreed upon by consensus. Thanks for noticing. Portal pages are a real pain, because they transclude portions of pages that sometimes have their own Linter errors in them, and the LintHint tool does not work properly. Special:ExpandTemplates usually works, thankfully. Also, there are a couple of bugs in related templates that I have reported; the error count can't go to zero until those are fixed or worked around (and all possible transcluded article space errors are fixed). Gallery, alt, and Lint

Hey! I recently came across Module talk:Random slideshow once again while looking into other issues, and remembered the linter errors that were occurring. I decided I would look through the issue for a bit, and came back across this link about file linter issues in the portal namespace being caused by the module. While trying to fix it, I've learnt that gallery feels extremely weird, sometimes not doing what it says it should, so I wanted to ask a few questions since you seem to know this better.

• Does the alt option even work for galleries? I did some quick testing by setting the alt parameter to values and I couldn't find a single visible change. If not, then I could fix >90% of the linter issues from the above link by just removing the alt during processing in the module (though a more thorough fix to do with moving named params to the end instead of the start may be worth looking into).
• Is tables ({| |}) not working in galleries an intentional feature? (Context) It's the only other cause for the linter issues (apart from unlucky naming schemes), and its a lot more troubling as I don't see an intended (or unintended) workaround.

|alt= works in galleries. You can see it if you go to Special:ExpandTemplates, add some gallery code with an alt tag, and enable HTML rendering. As for tables, since a table needs to start on a new line and a gallery item needs to be on a single line, I think they are simply incompatible with each other. – Jonesey95 (talk) 13:20, 17 October 2022 (UTC)

Template:Cratstats/doc

Hi. I nearly tagged Template:Cratstats/doc for deletion back in March, but wasn't sure by what criteria or rational, so I just added to my watchlist to see if anyone else nominated and how. According to a post at Template talk:Cratstats the doc page was created in order to categorize it. Then the (mis)categorization was removed with none replacing it.

I figured it was worth a try. It doesn't really fit any of the criteria, but the bot removes it from the page, so it's sort of like "deleted by page author", but not really. Another, probably better, option would be to contact the bot operator to ask them to add a doc section to the template page and ask the bot to leave it alone. – Jonesey95 (talk) 17:25, 17 October 2022 (UTC)

short description glitch

I found an article where the short description was edited and the closing "}}" braces left out. The article had a hatnote, so the closing braces of the hatnote actually closed what became part of a very long short description. It was noticed and fixed relatively quickly. But the SD was used elsewhere via {{annotated link}}, and that also article contained the weird SD text. I did either a purge or null edit, or maybe a real edit to fix something else. I assume the change to the actual SD in the other article would have filtered down eventually. Just mentioning this F.Y.I. in case you hadn't seen this before. Probably not a big deal. Thanks. Yes, unclosed templates can cause all manner of weirdness, and fixing the error in pages or sections that are transcluded does not instantly fix the error everywhere else. Template:Inactive WikiProject banner

Hello, again, Jonesey95,

I have a question about this template that I hope you can help me with. I was going to use the Template talk page but there are unanswered questions there so I don't think it's being monitored. This is a question that arises from a discussion on my talk page. For the past couple of years, we've been deleting empty WikiProject categories that are emptied after a WikiProject goes inactive or defunct and assessments are removed from article talk pages. This process might have been going on for longer but this is when I got involved.

So, my question is what bot is responsible for changing the templates on article talk pages that removes the assessment ratings and then posts this template? How soon after a WikiProject is marked "inactive" does this occur? I've noticed that it seems to happen about a year after a WikiProject's status is changed to "inactive" but this is just my observation, I don't know this as a fact. I'm assuming that a bot is involved as assessment ratings are on millions of article talk pages and I can't imagine any other way to alter this many templates.

I have generally stayed away from WikiProject templates, pages, and categories. I find the WikiProject template family too fiddly, and the class/rating system too arbitrary, for my brain to comprehend and engage with. I answer a lot of template-protected edit requests, but I almost never look at WikiProject template requests. That's the long way of saying that I am not the right person for your question. You might look at a few base-level WikiProject templates to see who is discussing and editing them. Lots of Linter

That's a lot of linter you had to do in my edits, thankx! Please understand that these weeks I am working on a large datadefinition set (ISO 4217), with unclear definitions by itself (ouch) and non-simple definitions at enwiki, wikidata. Inadequate template documentation

Thanks for checking in on the Routemap template I made. I will be starting work on a second one to eventually replace it so that it can be labeled properly. You don't need to create a second template, since the first one is currently unused. Just modify the first template, or wipe it out and start over. Hmm, I played with it. If you strip out all of that span/div junk, leaving the table, the table displays. It appears that something related to the span and div tags, possibly a Linter or Linter-ish syntax error, was hiding the table that should have been displayed. ... (a few minutes later...) DrGregMN, I am done with copy edits, unless I missed something. I think it would be helpful to say something at the outset like "In the present day, Withrow is a community consisting of a handful of businesses and residences in the rural outskirts of Minneapolis, but from the 1890s to the 1950s, it was a center of commerce and civic life, drawing from a nearby population of about 500 people." It is never really clear in the early part of the article that this is essentially a ghost town.

Elsewhere in the article, I think the details about railway subdivisions are excessive, reading like railfan trivia that is not relevant to Withrow. The section on the Ballroom also includes too much detail about changes in ownership and reads a bit too much like a tourist promotion. I removed some of it, leaving all of the refs. I may add some detail back with regard to the railroads: the whole reason why Withrow became a division point and a new line constructed was because the original line to Sault St. Marie was crooked with steep grades along the St. Croix with limited loading capacity on the bridge; I believe that's worthy of mention. I also caught note of your "whens?" placed in the article: I can certainly cite a specific year for when the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts were active in Withrow from the publications, but I don't know specific date ranges. I could telephone the BSA and GSA home offices; I would like to believe they have that in their history, but personal communication is not considered a "reliable source" for Wikipedia. With the copy edits, it is certainly over-sourced now, I will go through and pick out the best sources and eliminate the more redundant ones; however, I would rather have too many than too few: when it comes to ghost towns, I like to make sure anyone researching them can find all the information they may be looking for in one place. The "when" template in the Scouting paragraph was intended as a general comment on that paragraph, and really on the well-researched article as a whole. The article never really gave me a sense of the range of decades when Withrow was a bustling community and when those community activities dwindled to the rural outpost that it appears to be now. My guess is that the writer(s) of the article were too familiar with the content to be able to take a step back and think about that larger context. That means that the templates would be moved to User:Schrauber5/Marstime template, for example. They would still function in the same way, and you would be welcome to use them within pages that are part of your User space, like your sandbox or other test pages. Actually I think the source tags came when you forked AutoEd pages in project space such as Wikipedia:AutoEd/core.js. It was needed there since that page is in wikitext content model, not javascript. I intended to transclude this into the main article Catholic Church in Vietnam. I made the Bibliography section its own page so the edit history of the main article will not flood (I'd also frequently worked on this at User:Greenknight dv/sandbox/archives). In fact, this is how we do it in Vietnamese Wikipedia, especially for Infobox of some important articles. Not sure if this way of transclusion can be accepted here. Thank you for your offer. Nonexistent Users

Hello, Jonesey95,

Just a head's up, I know you are an experienced editor but we do allow "nonexistent user" pages and subpages when they are redirects after an editor has changed their username and the page is redirecting from the old user pages to the new ones with the updated username. Please do not tag these pages for deletion. There are often redirects to these pages that could become broken if these user pages are deleted. Thank you. Liz ^{Read! Thanks. Can you please give an example of one that I mistagged? I will use that information to try to do better. Well, thanks for taking this comment as constructive and not just criticism. I randomly checked a few of the deleted pages and the few ones that I looked at did look correct taggings, mistakes like me creating a page for User:Lizz/Sandbox instead of for User:Liz/Sandbox. I thought I saw some main User pages when I was looking at the Deletion log but they now seem to mostly be subpages like Sandboxes.

I think I get a little concerned when I see mass page deletions on the Deletion log because, some times, the deleting admins don't double-check the taggings when there are dozens of tagged pages so it all comes down to whether or not the tagging is accurate. I have great confidence in you (I mean, you have over a quarter of a million edits!) so perhaps I was just checking in with you to make sure you know these kind of old username>new username User pages are allowed (which of course you already know).

Perhaps my schoolteacher anxiety would be alleviated if I know how you found these pages and knew the parameters of the search. Was it through Quarry? Or a Database report, like the one you shared with me earlier this week? Now that I think about it (stream of consciousness writing here), that would make sense. Liz ^{Read! I found these pages by stumbling across Wikipedia:Database reports/Ownerless pages in the user space, which has been neglected for many years. I speedied a few hundred pages that were obvious errors and moved a bunch of pages to follow renamed editors. It appears that at least for a few editor renamings, the admin who moved the user page did not move all of the subpages. I'm tidying up some of that. I have a few hundred more to process and have asked for the report to be updated. Given that the report currently has pages that haven't been touched for five to ten years, I do not expect the refresh to result in a huge batch of new pages. – Jonesey95 (talk) 00:58, 9 December 2022 (UTC)

Special:WantedTemplates

Hi, I have been cleaning up Special:WantedTemplates and noticed that your javascript page is showing up in Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:$1. This is because the backend software is parsing the curly braces as templates. An easy way to fix this is to put

at the top of your script, and

// </syntaxhighlight>

The purpose of syntaxhighlight tags is to provide syntaxhighlighting in the specified language. User javascript pages have javascript syntax highlighting by default, so they are not needed. One of the things that syntaxhighlight and source tags also does is that they nowiki the contents, which is what is needed here to remove the page off maintenance reports. Doing it with syntaxhighlight tags is not ideal (but better than with source tags). Better way to do it is by adding // <nowiki> at the top and // </nowiki> at the bottom of the page. ಮಲ್ನಾಡಾಚ್ ಕೊಂಕ್ಣೊ (talk) 07:06, 10 December 2022 (UTC)

Upon further inspection, <nowiki>...</nowiki> may work because the nowiki tags that are on the page have backslashes inside of them. The other thing that works is to escape the '{{$1|$2}}' into '\{\{$1|$2\}\}' but that won't fix the other existing templates being transcluded via {{ISBN}}, but that could be escaped as well. Could you look at Template_talk:Infobox_person#Maintenance_backlog_of_empty,_unknown_parameters_processed and delete Category:Pages using infobox person with unknown empty parameters and dump all errors into Category:Pages using infobox person with unknown parameters. There was an objection when I asked, but that was based on them not realizing the latter cat was also (usually) empty. It served it's purpose, but we don't need both anymore. Thanks. Why did you restore a redirect to my old talk page? I blanked it for a reason, I regretted having my username as my real name, thus why I changed my username. I've sorted that (I think), but there was another problem which existed prior to my edits - the lack of a bottom border at Template:Archives/testcases/banner#3. This is down to the calculation of the rowspan value - the non-sandbox and sandbox ones both have rowspan="2". It seems that they use a calculation thus rowspan="{{#expr:1+{{#ifeq:{{{search}}}|no|0|1}}+{{#if:{{{list|{{{1|}}}}}}|1|0}}+{{#if:{{{age|}}}{{{target|}}}|1|0}}}}" which comes down to {{#expr:1+1+0+0}} and since the first 1 is a constant, the second 1 should be a 0. --Redrose64 🦌 (talk) 13:09, 31 December 2022 (UTC)
