Apple Inc. headquarters are located at 1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino, California, United States.

This is a list of acquisitions by Apple Inc., a computer hardware and software company founded on April 1, 1976 by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak.[1] In the early 2000s, Apple began to create software suites for its operating system, Mac OS X, including the iLife[2] and iWork[3] suites, and has acquired several companies to expand into the software industry.[4]

The company's largest acquisition as of April 2008 is the purchase of NeXT in 1996 for US$400 million from Steve Jobs, who was removed from his position as chairman from Apple in 1985.[5][6] 14 companies have been acquired as of April 2008.

Each acquisition is for the respective company in its entirety, and the acquisition date listed is the date of agreement between Apple Inc. and the subject of the acquisition. The value of each acquisition is listed in US$ because Apple is based in the United States,[7] and if the value of an acquisition is not listed, then it is undisclosed.
