Stage 1
The Tour will start with an individual time trial over 13.7 km (9 mi) with the start and the finish at the Jaarbeurs, Utrecht on 4 July. Due to the length of the time trial it is not called a prologue but stage 1.[3]
Stage 2
The second stage starts in Utrecht. The riders will ride underneath the Dom Tower and then go to De Meern.[3] The finish is on Neeltje Jans, an artificial island in the province of Zeeland.[4]
Stage 3
The third stage moves the tour to Belgium as it starts in Antwerp and ends in Huy.[5]
