History
Lunacloud was founded in 2011 by António Miguel Ferreira and Charles Nasser and launched its services to the general public on June 1, 2012. It provided cloud computing infrastructure as a service, such as cloud servers[2] and cloud storage,[3] and Cloud Jelastic hosting.[4]
Reception
The performance and cost of Lunacloud's offerings were favourably rated in TechWeekEurope[5] TechRepublic[6] and CloudSpectator[7] when compared to Rackspace and Amazon EC2.

Lunacloud provides cloud servers, cloud storage, and cloud jelastic. The design, build, and workloads are operated across both environments depending on a customer's individual needs.
Cloud Servers
Cloud Servers provided scalable virtual servers using Parallels and VMware.
Cloud Storage
The API was also compatible with the Amazon S3 API.
Cloud Jelastic
Cloud Jelastic (acronym for Java Elastic) was an unlimited PaaS and Container based IaaS within a single platform that provides high availability of applications, automatic vertical and horizontal scaling via containerization to software development clients, enterprise businesses, DevOps, System Admins and Developers.
