The 12141/42 Mumbai LTT-Rajendranagar Express, commonly known as the Rajendranagar Express (Marathi: राजेन्द्रनगर एक्सप्रेस Hindi: राजेन्द्रनगर एक्सप्रेस), is a daily superfast express train service of the Central Railway Zone of Indian Railways. It runs between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Mumbai, Maharashtra and Rajendranagar Terminal in Patna, Bihar.[1]
History
This train was started in 1997 to facilitate the transportation of passengers from Mumbai to Patna. When it began, the train ran only on Tuesdays, and only from LTT to PNBE. When the Rajendranagar Terminal was inaugurated in 2003, service was extended from PNBE to RJPB. In 2009, the train line was again extended from LTT TO CSTM, therefore running from CSTM TO RJPB.

From LTT to Itarsi, this train is hauled by either WAP 4 ET(Itarsi Shed)or WAP 4 BSL(Bhusawal Shed) . From Itarsi till Rajendranagar Terminal, this train is carried by WDP-4B/4D Of Itarsi Shed.[3]
Halts
This Train halts at 12 main stations, namely: Dadar, Kalyan, Nasik, Manmad, Bhusawal, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Satna, Mughalsarai, Buxar and Ara.This train halts at Igatpuri and Itarsi because of technical and pantry problems.
