Float around for awhile until you find something that tickles your fancy. One easy way to do this is to hit the random page button in the navigation bar to the left. There are also many great committees and groups that focus on particular jobs. My personal favorite stomping grounds are Wikipedia:Translation into English and Wikipedia:Cleanup for sloppy articles. Finally, the Wikimedia Foundation has several other wiki projects that you might enjoy.

Can I request that, if you want to take issue with an editor's behaviour that, as well as pinging other editors, that you also either directly contact or ping the editor concerned. Notification had to be provided by another editor. GregKaye 09:25, 17 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm assuming this is in reference to Wikipedia talk:Requested moves#Request to revert a whole bunch of undiscussed moves? Firstly, I must take objection to the statement that I "ping[ed] other editors". I made three pings in that conversation, two of which were to you, and the third was in the most recent of the five comments I made, well after you joined the conversation. Secondly, I was not attempting to start a discussion of anyone's behaviour, I was attempting to place a request to revert undiscussed moves. The main RM page has a space, under the subheading "Requesting technical moves" for "Requests to revert undiscussed moves". Had there only been a few moves in question, I would have filled out the appropriate template and listed them there, and an admin would have moved them, or not moved them and converted them to RM discussions. Either way would not involve pinging anyone or a discussion of anyone's behavior. I left a note on the talk page instead because filling out the same template one at a time for hundreds of articles would have been an incredibly tedious undertaking, and I was hoping that admins had access to an automated process that could do the reverts much more easily if they agreed my request had merit. I note, even following a request regarding pinging, that you don't ping with your reply. Your selective pings have appeared in threads found here. here and here.. This after you made no contact with me when raising complaint.

In my recent extension of the first thread I have raised other issues with, what I contested to be, your misrepresentations here, none of which you have replied to.
You have fairly called me to account in regard to some of my earlier behaviours and your corrections have been appreciated. You present "undiscussed moves" when almost all the moves made had made reference to that first supportive discussion (as the immediately following editor also pointed out), you say that I am starting a fourth discussion when what I was doing was continuing the first of the three discussions that I had started, when you present "that this is simply a religious issue and nothing more" when there are clearly a very wide range of cultural connections to the divinities mentioned. Your arguments include, relating to figures in religion "This isn't a religious issue". Do you say that it purely mythological? (I would like to propose a great many tons of masonry and countless artefacts as evidence to say that it is not). Is this really what you are saying? If so then please substantiate. Hello. The link I removed at Lammermuir Party was a link to the article Mary Bell. That article is not a link to an article about a Mary Bell who was a missionary in the 1860s, but about a Mary Bell who was a murderer in the 1960s. Since the link Mary Bell leads to the murderer by that name, but the context of the link clearly does not intend the link to go to the murderer by that name, it was a link to the wrong Mary Bell. As the link could only serve to confuse, by bringing the reader to a link about an entirely different person who happens to have the same name, I removed it. Since the other Mary Bells listed at the disambiguation page, Mary A. Bell, Mary Hayley Bell, and Mary Bell (aviator), are also not the person this link was meant for, none of them having yet been born in the 1860s, I did not replace the link with a link to the article on this Mary Bell, as there does not appear to be one at this time. St Georges School, Carlton[edit]

Hi, Not quite sure why the link fix was made as the item in question wasn't a link in the first place but part of the reference citation as supplied by the National Library of Australia for Wikipedia entries. The part that was changed wasn't the visible part of the citation ("Punch (Melbourne, Vic. : 1900 - 1918; 1925)"), it was the place it was linked to, which was Punch. If someone clicked on that link looking for more information about the periodical being cited, they would get a page that provided articles about many different things called "Punch" or "punch". Since the one they want is located at the link Melbourne Punch, they would need to search through that list and hopefully not get confused for one of the other periodicals with that name. With the link fixed, they don't have to do that, because now clicking on it brings them right to the article about the specific "Punch" they wanted information on. Level 8 Magician[edit]

With the vague definition of "mechanic" given, I felt it was necessary to bring awareness to the lack of description of the trade. Simply listing different forms of a trade does not define the magic being performed. Mechanics in power plants turn rocks and dead dinosaurs into lightning bolts. How's that for magic?? Plus, the picture on the page depicts a mechanic working on a steam pump, which is inaccurate. There are no steam pumps in a power plant, as steam cannot be pumped. I am (Redacted), and I am here with (Redacted). We are two students that attend Noblesville High School. We are sorry if the information we put in our heading offend you, or some rules. However we noticed in the wiki page referring to Noblesville Indiana just stated facts about our home, and nothing about the culture it represents. "We are together!" Is a popular saying among the people of Noblesville representing how we are all a family. We appreciate you trying to keep Wikipedia clean of bad information but we were/ are trying to represent our city, and home in a more positive light.

You've been reverted and I didn't get a response from the person who did it. After watching the season premiere of Scandal, I got concerned and I checked the article to make sure your hatnote was still there. It had been gone for some time as I took the longest time to go through the history. Since the article is featured, I'm guessing all those edits were intended to get it to featured status (Wrong. I figured out how to see when it was promoted. How in the world does an article that is already featured get that many edits?). I am not threatening. just stop these malicious people. You can see that they are just making propaganda by reading the page history.

Well, IP 88, I can't ping you, and you can't watchlist pages, so you probably won't see this, but: 1) You really need to stop accusing other editors of things like "There are 2 editors who use Wikipedia for their own propaganda purposes." and you can see that 2 3 editors are running a campaign on purpose. Without evidence, those are personal attacks. You need to provide evidence, with diffs, explaining how those editors are doing that. It's not incumbent on anyone else to take two minutes to find your evidence for you. (Please note that I do not mean you should do that on this page. You should not. Please do not. Anonymous user 85.255.237.12 apparently thinks my addition of {{citation needed}} was "Trumpist bulls--t", even though I actually despise him.
