Why did you undo my undo from the anti-spam bot? I just finished doing a appeal for it! Besides, it only added the description for the map from Halo: Combat Evolved, which isn't anything spammish. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.190.18.47 (talk) 22:56, 23 January 2013 (UTC) AFTER APOLOGY NOTE: Thanks for the apology note. I saw your qualms about the notability of the article I created, so I looked for news coverage on the topic, and found a relevant news article. The edits I made added information I found there. King jakob c (talk) 00:53, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Susquehanna Warrior Trail, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nanticoke (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Re: J. Manley Robbins Trail

[edit]

Hey there! Thank you for your article submission, and for your continuing interest in the encyclopedia. I tried to find some more sources for the article but all I found was this, which still doesn't show notability, so unless there are some old print sources kicking around somewhere I don't think we have enough information for a stand-alone article. Probably your best bet right now is to merge the article with Danville, Pennsylvania - add a paragraph or two about the trail in either the "Recreation" or the "Geography" section. How does that sound? Thanks again, and let me know if there is anything I can do to help! --Cerebellum (talk) 10:24, 27 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

How to fix the electron configuration table

[edit]

The header and the row for H now display correctly. Could you extend this fix to the others? Double sharp (talk) 04:42, 2 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

How about now? Is it better? King jakob c (talk) 16:27, 2 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. Thanks! Double sharp (talk) 10:13, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No problem! Glad to do it! King jakob c (talk) 13:09, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You ought to fix La–118, though. Double sharp (talk) 01:53, 4 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Also, don't split 9s and 9p from each other. (You do that in 119+. You shouldn't do that, since they have the same n (they're both in the 9th shell).) Double sharp (talk) 06:12, 4 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You still have an extra column for 57–118 (just remove one of the "||"s – see 56 for an example), and 119–143 still aren't fixed. Double sharp (talk) 02:32, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I tried that, but the preview just showed the 9p column vanishing on 57 - 118. If there's a problem, I'm pretty sure it's something else. King jakob c (talk) 03:36, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Works fine now. It's the shells row that caused trouble (the one with "2, 8, 18, etc.") Double sharp (talk) 04:11, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your new account

[edit]

First, I've moved your permissions over to your new account:

Rollbacker permission granted

Hi King jakob c. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! AGK [•] 20:16, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Reviewer permission granted

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges. A full list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on will be at Special:StablePages.

Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

See also:

Second, I suggest you make the following pagemoves:

  1. User:King jakob c (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) to User:King jakob c 2 (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)
  2. User talk:King jakob c (edit | subject | history | links | watch | logs) to User talk:King jakob c 2 (edit | subject | history | links | watch | logs)

This is because it's quite confusing that your signature links to a page that redirects to the user and user talk pages of another account. If you need administrator assistance for doing so, please replace your new user and user talk pages with {{db-user}}, and then use the "move" button of your current pages once the new pages are deleted to make way for your move. Happy editing! AGK [•] 20:16, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • He won't be able to make those moves himself as he'd need to delete the redirects. I'll also note that without making those pagemoves, he won't get the orange message bar telling him when his talk page has been edited. Ryan Vesey 20:24, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    • Quite, but if he tags the pages with the appropriate speedy tag and waits for a sysop to delete the page, he will then be able to move the page, won't he? That was what I suggested he do. Quite: the orange message bar poses a serious problem, and is the most compelling argument in favour of these moves being made. I suspect from Jakob's latest message on my talk that he's trying to move his pages as we speak. AGK [•] 22:08, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi King Jakob! Thanks for your simple, accessible, and accurate answer at the Teahouse about what those funny numbers mean on history and contribution pages. You demystified the topic for our Teahouse guest and that's exactly what we're trying to do! Thanks :)

Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
