Opinion
I want to take a opinion from you,
I want a clarification on this issue in 2019 Loksabha elections article page ,where results table are for only 542 seats and one seat held later. ECI recently updated the files and includes all seats for calculation vote share ,voters, registered electors and so on. It even published a article and atlas about 2019 loksabha election, I tried to edit as per Election commission of India's sources and files but one user reverted both my edits and references and said that delayed election should not be included.Whether it is a general or delayed election or not, primary source for election related articles in Wikipedia are the election commission of their respective countries. Even Election commission of India saying total electors for GE 2019 are 911,950,784 they reverted to 910,512,091, I even continuously arguing but that user not satisfied for Government's souce and files.

Can you see the discussion now Talk: 2019 Indian general election , till now no objection for my edits except the reverted editor, who also created that table .
I edited based on a strong and updated reference from both govt , private and news article but the another user reverts just because it's "editors choice" and "need not necessary" and not citing any reference or Wikipedia rule but still revert make no sense to me apart from article page discussion, another discussion was also made on the reverted user talk page Nahtrav (talk) 15:40, 17 August 2021 (UTC)

Welcome

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Mysore

Thanks for your edits on Mysore. The relative population of the urban areas needs to be clarified, by reference to a consistent set of demographic information. Can you add an appropriate citation? Fconaway (talk) 18:07, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you.

Thank you for uploading File:Bsyeddyurappa.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FinalRapture - 20:03, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please make sure you leave an edit summary when you do large changes like you did here. Thanks. --CarTick 13:00, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Also your changes make the Karnataka constituencies number to 14. But there were only 11. So do any of them are out of Karnataka now? any ideas?
how do you know it is only 11? --CarTick 15:22, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Sir" in the title

Per wikipedia's Manual of style we don't put titles and honorifics like "sir" , "dr" "his highness" etc in the title. They can be in the article but not in the title. please don't move the articles.--Sodabottle (talk) 14:52, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bangalore "not to be confused with Mangalore"

Hi. On 14 June 2010 (a week ago), you removed a "distinguish" template from Bangalore, which alerted readers that Bangalore was "not to be confused with Mangalore". I was the person who originally added this "distinguish" alert, and I believe it was appropriate and should go back in. While many English speakers have heard of Bangalore (whether they can find it on a map of India may be another issue!), very few English speakers had ever heard of Mangalore before last month's airplane accident, and I think it is extremely likely that many people mistakenly assumed Mangalore was either a misspelling or an alternate form of Bangalore. Even if it might be obvious to you that these two names are completely different, we should be thinking of the average English-speaking reader here. If you still feel strongly that it is not appropriate to add this note back into the Bangalore article, let's take it over to the talk page of the article and see what other people think. Richwales (talk) 04:04, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Na Someshwar has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the prod blp tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. License tagging for File:Chamarajanagar.JPG

Thanks for uploading File:Chamarajanagar.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 20:06, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Move

Hi, I have undone your move of DD Chandana to Chandana TV, because the latter is not the standard name. Please always discuss potentially controversial changes and moves on the talk page first before moving. Cheers and regards, Shreevatsa (talk) 20:37, 5 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've undone your page move of 2011 Cricket World Cup, as the page you moved it to WC 2011 is not a sensible name. Pages should use the WP:COMMONNAME. Thanks. GedUK  08:29, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You've moved it agan, without any discussion or consensus for the move, so I've reverted it. I see that you've done a heap of other moves, presumably similarly without agreement, so please revert them now, and refrain from any similar behaviour in future without discussion. - David Biddulph (talk) 11:23, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removing Speedy at Cleanest cities in India

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Cleanest cities in India, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. Rajya Rani Express

Hi. Please stop adding irrelevant images or undue images to the article. Images of what locos will haul the trains is totally undue. Also see WP:OWN.  Abhishek  Talk 14:02, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I have reverted your move of Jog Falls, Shimoga to Jog Falls, Shivamogga as this is not in accordance with the naming policies. The city article is named Shimoga per WP:UCN and hence we have to follow the same for this article too. Thanks,  Abhishek  Talk 12:35, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Mysore-Mayiladuthurai Express, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages City of Palaces and Maddur (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

February 2012

Your recent editing history at Jan Shatabdi Express shows that you are in danger of breaking the three-revert rule, or that you may have already broken it. An editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Breaking the three-revert rule often leads to a block.

If you wish to avoid being blocked, instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to discuss the changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. You may still be blocked for edit warring even if you do not exceed the technical limit of the three-revert rule if your behavior indicates that you intend to continue to revert repeatedly. The edits you have made as Vijethmove (talk · contribs) also account for edit warring. Also please go through WP:SOCK.  Abhishek  Talk 13:26, 8 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Controversial page moves

I noticed that you have been continuing your move of pages to different titles withour citing a strong and valid reason. Please be aware of the Article naming conventions policy. All controversial moves should be discussed through a requested move the outcome of which will be decided by an admin. Official name does not always hold good, there is something called a WP:COMMONNAME policy which you need to be aware of. Only obvious moves can be made supported by strong evidence, all others need to be done through a requested move. Your moves are considered disruptive, and if you continue, you will be reported. Thanks,  Abhishek  Talk 16:54, 22 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hubli does not have UA statistics and hence cannot be compared to places that are having UA, and also UA for Hubli cannot be done as Hubli-Dharwad are cities as well as the district having no villages in them unlike Mysore which has villages surrounding the city, If at all UA for Hubli is done its population will be well over 15 lakhs.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Solapur - Hassan Express, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hassan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

A tag has been placed on Template:Deputy Chief Ministers in India requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is an unused duplicate of another template, or a hard-coded instance of another template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is not actually the same as the other template noted, please consider putting a note on the template's page explaining how this one is different so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>substituted</noinclude>).

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. It appears that you have been canvassing—leaving messages on a biased choice of users' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote—in order to influence Kundanahalli, Mandya. While friendly notices are allowed, they should be limited and nonpartisan in distribution and should reflect a neutral point of view. Please do not post notices which are indiscriminately cross-posted, which espouse a certain point of view or side of a debate, or which are selectively sent only to those who are believed to hold the same opinion as you. Hanumanthanagar, Bengaluru moved to draftspace

Problem with your custom signature

You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.

The problem: Your preferences are set to interpret your custom signature as wikitext. However, your current custom signature does not contain any wikitext.

The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.

Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
 1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
 2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
 3. Remove anything in the Signature: text box. (It might already be empty.)
 4. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
 1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
 2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
 3. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page.

More information about custom signatures is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures. 19:04, 3 September 2020 (UTC)

Predatory source

Hi User:Vijethnbharadwaj, I noticed that "POLITICAL LEADERSHIP LEGACY OF D. DEVARAJ URS" by Mahesh. S., which you added in this edit to Kollur Mallappa was automatically edit-tagged (see filters) as a predatory publication (and therefore unreliable source). The Global Journal for Research Analysis shows up on Beall's list as an unreliable publication, and that unfortunately indicates a lack of peer review that consigns the material to self-published unreliability.

You may choose to check suspicious sources at WP:CITEWATCH, the Reliable sources/Perennial sources list, and its noticeboard history. If you want to stay ahead of these problems, consider installing the Unreliable/Predatory Source Detector (UPSD) (a user script), which automatically highlights suspicious citations.

It's probably best to remove the citation and the material that came from it, unless you can find a reliable reference to back it up. If you're sure it's true but cannot source it at the moment, a citation needed tag might be appropriate, though you're probably the most qualified person to find the right sources.

Good luck, and sorry for the extra work. --Anon423 (talk) 18:05, 3 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Opinion

I want to take a opinion from you, I want a clarification on this issue in 2019 Loksabha elections article page ,where results table are for only 542 seats and one seat held later.

I edited based on a strong and updated reference from both govt , private and news article but the another user reverts just because it's "editors choice" and "need not necessary" and not citing any reference or Wikipedia rule but still revert make no sense to me apart from article page discussion, another discussion was also made on the reverted user talk page Nahtrav (talk) 15:40, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
