Before requesting, read the protection policy. Full protection is used to stop edit warring between multiple users or to prevent vandalism to high-risk templates; semi-protection and pending changes are usually used to prevent IP and new user vandalism (see the rough guide to semi-protection); and move protection is used to stop pagemove revert wars. User:IronDuke is adding GoogleDocs, a blog, and NGO Monitor in to the article against myself and another editor and is ignoring the discussion on the talk page. The user is also reverting out the tag referring other editors to the discussion on talk.

If an article is being persistently vandalized, request page protection." I was trying to report here out of deference to their process, but I suppose I will post a copy of this there. First of all, I'm not a sockpuppet of Mathemagician57721. After all, the only edit Mathemagician57721 ever made to the page was to remove the kodomo demographic. Not only have I not made that unconstructive edit, I've even made constructive edits to the article. I'm guessing that your claim that I'm a sockpuppet stems solely from the fact that I'm also from Springfield, MO and I edited articles about Pokémon manga. However, are you now going to claim that every IP from Springfield, MO who edits EToP is a sockpuppet of Mathemagician57721, regardless of whether the edits he or she makes are constructive? Before posting, first discuss with the protecting admin at their talk page. Post below only if you receive no reply.

• To find out the username of the admin who protected the page click on "history" at the top of the page, then click on "View logs for this page" which is under the title of the page. The protecting admin is the username in blue before the words "protected", "changed protection level" or "pending changes". If there are a number of entries on the log page, you might find it easier to select "Protection log" or "Pending changes log" from the dropdown menu in the blue box.
