Wuhu Metro or Wuhu Rail Transit is a monorailrapid transit system in Wuhu, Anhui, China. Line 1 has been under construction since December 2016, and is scheduled to open by the end of 2020.[1] The first phase of Line 2 started construction in 2018 with completion slated for 2020.[2] Both lines will use BombardierInnovia Monorail trains manufactured under a joint venture with CRRC.[3] More lines are being planned.[4]
Line 1
Line 1 consists of 25 stations and 30.41 kilometres (18.90 mi) of track between Baoshun Road in the north and Baimashan in the south. It is projected to be completed in 2020.[4]
Line 2
The first phase of Line 2 runs between Wanchunhu Road to Beijing Road, with transfer to Line 1 at Beijing Road. It consists of 11 stations and 15.787 kilometres (9.810 mi) of track. It is also projected to be completed in 2020.[2]
