Expedition 49 is scheduled to be the 49th expedition to the International Space Station.

Anatoli Ivanishin, Kathleen Rubins and Takuya Onishi are to transfer from Expedition 48. Expedition 49 is scheduled to begin upon the departure of Soyuz MS-01 in September 2016 and conclude upon the departure of Soyuz TMA-20M in November 2016. The crew of Soyuz MS-02 are then to transfer to Expedition 50.[1][2][3]
