You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Unified Modeling Language. I see that you have several warnings in the past and were banned once before. Please get familiar with Wikipedia rules for editing before you make any more changes. I will report you to an admin the next time you deface the UML page. If you want to spout your dislike of UML go to Facebook or some other forum, this is not the place for it. Due to persistent vandalism, anonymous editing from your school, library, or educational institution's IP address may be blocked (disabled). You will continue to have access to read the encyclopedia. If you are logged in but still unable to edit, please follow these instructions. To prevent abuse, account creation via this IP address might also be disabled.
If account creation is disabled and you are unable to create an account elsewhere, you can request one by following the instructions at Wikipedia:Request an account. Please check on this list that the username you choose has not already been taken. If editing is required for class projects, please have your instructor or network administrator contact us (with reference to this IP address) at the Unblock Ticket Request System with a contact email address that is listed on your school's website. JohnCD (talk) 18:08, 6 September 2015 (UTC) Comments: Blocked for 1 year.- @JohnCD: I was contacted on the IRC channel #wikipedia-en-unblock connect regarding this block by a person who said they worked for the IIIT's IT department and promised that they'd introduce new, sterner policies to prevent abuse of Wikipedia from this IP. Looking at the recent contributions, some certainly are unhelpful, but it seems comparatively mild to me. For example, the edit at Unified Modeling Language was actually a test that was self-reverted before they were ever warned about it. Other edits are decidedly helpful. Would you object to an unblock? Huon (talk) 22:27, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
Unblocked
[edit]@Huon: OK, on the basis of that assurance I have unblocked, but contributions will be watched and any resumption of vandalism will result in the block being restored. Students, please do not alter articles as an experiment, even if you undo your change immediately - you can use the WP:Sandbox to experiment in. JohnCD (talk) 08:38, 30 September 2015 (UTC)
