Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Mathias Point Light has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bfacebook\.com (links: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/profile.php?id=100000021061697&ref=profile).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 11:38, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Money in the Bank ladder match. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Steam Iron 20:47, 10 June 2010 (UTC) Please do not attack other editors, as you did here: WrestleMania XXV. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. ♥NiciVampireHeart12:48, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on WrestleMania XXV. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Stop edit-warring on this article. I've lost track of the number of editors and ips you';ve reverted without explanation. I'm tired of pointing out in my edit summaries that the name parameter in the infobox (i.e. where it says |name = ) is for the name of the article. The article is called WrestleMania XXV, therefore the infobox reads WrestleMania XXV. End of story. Stop edit-warring or you will get blocked.NiciVampireHeart19:54, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to WrestleMania XXVII, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You seem to be vandalizing this article as well as many others if you do this again you WILL BE BLOCKED! Curtis23's Usalions 03:47, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Adminship

[edit]

Saim, i see that you have nominated yourself for adminship. I urge you to immediately withdraw. You have made only 345 edits in wikipedia; in recent years no-one with less than 2,000 edits has succeeded, and most have well over 3,000. You also need to have broad experience in admin-related tasks, and you have not. I suggest that you cancel your submission and spend a few months gaining wikipedia experience; then try again. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 16:44, 6 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In fact I now see that you have not properly transcluded your application, so it does not in fact show on the WP:RfA page. I suggest that for the present you leave things as they are and, as I said above, gather some wikipedia experience. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 16:49, 6 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Concur with Anthony.bradbury. You should withdraw. You are not going to be successful with so few edits, and the blocks and edit warring warnings are no help. When you are ready someone will nominate you. --220.101 (talk) \Contribs 16:58, 6 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with all the above. You currently have zero chance of becoming an admin, so save yourself any heartache and have a read of WP:NOTNOW. Get a good year or so of article-building under your belt, with a good few thousand edits, and no edit-warring or blocks, and then think about it again. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 17:34, 6 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. A lack of civility; edit warring and blocks only demonstrate a lack of experience and possibly even immaturity (to judge by the desire to edit wrestling and video game pages. That's how an objective assessor may see it at any rate). Avoid the humiliation. 125.63.185.205 (talk) 04:43, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Saimcheeda. I noticed you created a Requests for Adminship page some time ago; I was wondering as to what the status of that request might be. I think it's fair to warn you that new users are rarely successful at RfA and that the Wikipedia editing community sets very high standards for editors running for adminship. That being said, I strongly urge you to read WP:GRFA, User:Davidwr/Administration is not for new users, and WP:NOTNOW, and ask you to reconsider whether you really do wish to go through with your candidacy; please understand that you stand very little to no chance of passing RfA at this point and that you are strongly discouraged from running for adminship. If you are still intent on running for adminship with that RfA and are absolutely positive this is what you want, please do let me know; otherwise, I'll go ahead and delete the RfA page for you in about a week or so from today. License tagging for File:DSC02828.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:DSC02828.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 16:06, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Uploading images

[edit]

Please familiarise yourself with the contents of Wikipedia:Image use policy before uploading any further images. Wikipedia takes copyright infringement very seriously and uploading non-free images is strongly discouraged. You may find that if you continue to repeatedly infringe the guidelines you may find yourself blocked by an administrator. 21st CENTURY GREENSTUFF 14:56, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there.

What's with this and this edit? I could understand you changing all instances of "primary" to "main", or vice versa, but I don't understand why you've flipped them round in each case? That's hardly consistent. a_man_alone (talk) 12:23, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that Saim Cheeda, a page that you created, has been tagged for deletion. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. December 2012

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at India–Pakistan cricket rivalry. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. SMS Talk 06:20, 9 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Saimcheeda, and thank you for your contributions!

Some text in an article that you worked on Pakistani cricket team in India in 2012-13, appears to be directly copied from another Wikipedia article, Pakistani cricket team in India in 2012–13. Please take a minute to double-check that you've properly attributed the source text in your edit summary.

It's entirely possible that this bot made a mistake, so please feel free to remove this notice and the tag it placed on Pakistani cricket team in India in 2012-13 at any time. MadmanBot (talk) 15:20, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Saimcheeda, and welcome to Wikipedia. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and a cited source. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied without attribution. If you want to copy from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Davejohnsan (talk) 18:49, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dream

[edit]

Hi. I apprecitate if you don't remove the sentence from Velveteen Dream article. Even if WWE only counts one of the events (in-universe), it's something that happened and it's sourced (real life and fact). Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Think Like a Dog does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! April 2023

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Hogwarts Legacy. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. CastJared (talk) 18:26, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
